A new edition of the memorial book "Die jüdischen Bürgerinnen und Bürger im Kreis Göttingen 1933–1945" ("The Jewish Citizens of the Göttingen District 1933–1945") tells the stories of almost 970 people persecuted under National Socialism.

Alongside the Stolpersteine on the region's streets, this book is an important contribution to remembrance. The Library of the Max Planck Institute for Political and Social Science is grateful to the District of Göttingen for kindly providing us with copies. @mpips.bsky.social
