For Maths fans, 2025 is a square. 45² = 45 x 45 = 2025 Also, 9² x 5² = 2025 40² + 20² + 5² = 2025 My favourite? 1³+2³+3³+4³+5³+6³+7³+8³+9³ = 2025 #Mathematics #teaching #education

The years Y = 1, 9, 36, 100, 225, 441, 784, 1296, 2025, 3025 … all follow the pattern Y = square of (1 + … + n) = 1 cubed + … + n cubed. So the last pre-2025 year of this form was 1296 = (1 + 2 + … + 8) squared = 36 squared = 1 cubed + … + 8 cubed. The first post-2025 will be 3025 = 55 squared.

The Starter Pack feature on BlueSky has been a fantastic tool for expanding my feed—I’ve already followed 1.3k accounts in under a week! However, while it’s excellent for quickly building an echo chamber, it lacks the organic, exploratory charm that made the early days of Twitter so memorable.

I suppose this is an inevitable byproduct of migration to BlueSky being innately artificial. Twitter and BlueSky offer similar experiences, yet they are distinctly different. Perhaps it’s best to embrace each platform for what it is, rather than cling to nostalgia or expect the same magic.

An Uber X from MSY to the Marriott cost me $77! Opting for a shared ride brought it down to $56. Surprisingly, the Tesla Model 3 seat wasn’t as uncomfortable as I remembered.

You are up to date.
