Josh and I grew up together dreaming of being announcers. I still have cassette tapes in my childhood house of us calling games where we set the Sega Genesis to play against itself. He stuck with it and now he’s calling World Series highlights. I couldn’t be happier for him.

For those who asked, here is most of the fifth on Brewers radio. That is Josh Maurer on the call. Note the nod to Franzke. (Maurer is from Philadelphia.)

I know nobody cares about fantasy football bad beats but losing by 2 points after your kicker blows out his knee trying to make a tackle in the first quarter is probably up there

The generation that got to buy cheap houses thanks to a postwar construction boom, then blocked new housing construction to juice their asset values is now whining that they have to pay taxes on their unearned wealth. Just breathtaking selfishness.

This Bears-Falcons game probably has the most players named for world capitals of any game in NFL history (Rome Odunze, Cairo Santos, Drake London, LaCale London)

I was right then

Tomorrow morning! I made banana bread and the house smells amazing. DM me or reply to this post to rsvp. It's a close race between a centrist Dem and Dr Sara Deen. She will fight for all Californians tohave access to good healthcare, housing and education.

The god damn hit I took on these tickets because nobody wants to watch the Dodgers in this heat, I am so mad at the Phillies and Dodger fans and ExxonMobil

At least I won’t be at Dodger Stadium when it’s over 100 degrees Sunday

God damn Phillies used to be the Daycare and some prime veterans, next few years they're basically going to be The Villages and their kids who nobody likes

just looked up the box score for the Atlanta Hawks game that Jack Smith was not at, and he missed a hell of a game. 141-134 OT Hawks win, Steph Curry with 60 points, Trae Young with 7 3s, both teams with a double-double off the bench. www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/20...

The Bears have Rome Odunze and Cairo Santos and I think they should lean into the world capitals theme and try to acquire Drake London while they’re at it

Haha the Phillies are gonna pull better ratings in this time slot the rest of the week

President Donald Trump will be addressing the nation tomorrow from the Oval Office at 2 pm ET.

Not these fucking Nazis using Brian Dawkins for their propaganda

A government that creates propoganda to promote the violent treatment of people as sport is not a government for people at all, but a government against all people.

Damn this is quite the list

when the Phillies built the core of their team it was "oh how will we get everyone enough ABs with all these outfielders" and here we are making a playoff push with Marsh-Crawford-De La Cruz
