Trade: The Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks, per Adam Schefter and me. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.

I hate this for the team but Dante’s future - in the NFL and outside of football - must come first. If it’s possible for me to hate USC more the blatantly dirty hit that caused this injury did the trick. #GoDucks

NEWS: Dan Lanning announces that QB Dante Moore is not expected to return this season. He has not yet been cleared to play in games. Moore hasn't played since the concussion against USC on Sept. 26.

SNEAKERS was released in 4K last year based on a new master and it looks dramatically better than the bluray release. It’s one of my favorite movies and it was absolutely worth buying it for a third time (DVD/Bluray/UHD).

in salvador, they just shut down the whole bus network and the guy responsible for it just FLEW TO PARIS in são paulo, the bus network wasn't at 100% capacity (which is required by law in the election day) and we're now trying to arrest the mayor because of this they're trying everything they can

Powerful lines like this are why Chuck’s writing is a must-read: (Technically referred to as the “calyx,” which is Latin for “apple butthole.”)

There’s an Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer autographed by Nolan Bushnell, and the auction ends in 90 minutes. Please buy it so that I don’t.

The Strong's annual fundraiser auction is happening right now, and ends tomorrow! Tons of great packages that were donated specifically to support the museum. Pick up a signed Atari 2600, or even dinner with our CEO! playball2026.ggo.bid/n/package-list

I miss the days of having a go-to multiplayer game where I hang out with friends (Halo, Gears, the original CoD:MW, Smite, Apex, etc.). We took CoD DMZ for a spin last night (fun!) and tonight it's time to check out the multiplayer. If this isn't our new jam I don't know what will be.

EA Sports has announced that it is working on a new open-world football game that the company calls "Project Gridiron," which seems to be separate from Madden and College Football. https://bit.ly/4z63a9U

Closing The Garage and the employee library while being wildly profitable is incredibly short-sighted.

Part of my literal job is to fly out to physical game studios to rescue and recover historical materials that might be endangered and put them in a permanent archive. @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social is a 501(c)3 publicly funded to do that, my DMs are open, and I'm free for the next couple weeks...

As I said to a friend last night - the days of AAA games as we used to know them is over and it's not coming back.

BioWare, which was once hundreds of employees across three offices, had around 50 staff remaining when EA closed the studio this morning. EA gutted BioWare after the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard last year, as we reported then: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...

This means that the increased price of RAM and consumer electronics was a result of an artificial "supply chain crisis" created by Jensen Huang pushing NVIDIA's customers to take early delivery of GPUs. Jensen Huang is responsible for making life worse for everyone.

Ed Zitron@edzitron.com

NVIDIA seems to be channel stuffing, forcing Amazon and other customers to take early delivery. The argument that these things are "scarce" when you don't even have anywhere to plug them into is nonsense...unless NVIDIA is saying you NEED to take them now, or else. GPUs are stacked in warehouses.
