Today has been the longest day, replacing yesterday. I'm so tired and the clock change continues to fuck with me. But I can't seem to just fall asleep. Rewatching Ed Wood as that flick is one I've fallen asleep to over the years so hopefully it works. But then again, I love this movie, so...

I check out a few horror creators on YouTube and TikTok etc. and often hear them say certain scenes scared them shitless etc. I have no idea what that feels like and I feel like I'm missing out, but also, how much of that is true? They could just be saying it 🤷

I've seen this several times & I think this is the first time I realised Wes Craven was one of the cameos (and I'm wondering if I'd have noticed if Joe Bob hadn't said?) Now I feel mad at myself as I'm usually really good at spotting people. I spend most of my life like Leo when watching stuff 😅

I saw someone post on Twitter saying "You can't watch horror movies during the day". I used to only watch horror at night. Same as playing horror games. But when you have a full-time job and have time during the day (and Letterboxd challenges to do) this changes the lay of the land 😅

We are sad to learn that Japanese writer Ryū Murakami has passed away at 74 years old. Murakami wrote the 1997 novel AUDITION which was adapted into Takashi Miike's horror masterpiece. He also wrote the novels Almost Transparent Blue and Coin Locker Babies. Rest in Peace.
