Married to Christine [lucky me]. I am The REAL Film Cricket, I write opinions on films, I know I talk to myself. I write and paint, if you are interested I post things on here. Blue Sky is a lonely quiet place for me but there is no other SM I like or use

📽️The image is the Samsung TV I watch the films/TV play PS5 games on. The shelf on the right holds my Blu-rays/DVDs [not all of them] & some Playstation games. The image was created by me [no AI just me]. Don't forget for further long-winded waffle opinions on films you don't care about blame John! 😂

Latest painting. The lady who is getting this said I could post it online, so thank you to her. Took quite a while to get it done but I managed in the end. She likes it and that is the most important thing. St Mary's Church, Michelmersh, Hants, UK. #painting #art #landscape #artist #paint #building

Here's one I don't think is good, which is a shame because I loved Paulina Alexis, Wǎgíyaŋ Čížaŋ (Young Eagle) and the whole show Reservation Dogs. I just don't think this captured her but at least I'm honest and show you duff stuff too @only-si-chuck.bsky.social #art #painting #YoungEagle #portrait

I think I might shut down this thread now; people must be geting fed up with me and if people are stealing my images to use for themselves, well fair enough, nearly all of the paintings I have shown you are sat in artist cases in my bedroom, I can't give them away. So if anyone makes illegal money 🤷‍♂️

You probably don't have a full knowledge of British TV [sorry if I'm insulting you and you do] This is Mark Rylance a good British actor playing Thomas Cromwell in the TV series Wolf Hall. I liked the show but funnily enough not the novels. #art #painting #portraits #MarkRylance #portraitpainting

Ever seen The Battery @only-si-chuck.bsky.social ? I loved it, there are so many crap and 'seen-it-all-before' zombie films out there that Mr. Jeremey Gardner's version on a tight budget was great. More like how normal people would survive...I HAD to paint him #art #portrait #painting #TheBattery

@only-si-chuck.bsky.social here's one you might not know. Susan Wokoma; a UK actor, I first saw her in a TV show here called Crazyhead that I loved! I HAD to paint her but she is so nice and happy all of her photos online have her laughing - I had to do something different! #art #paint #susanwokoma

@only-si-chuck.bsky.social I have posted this a few times so you might have seen it - but I love Glory - I didn't know the history, so the film made me become a researcher into it - my wife and I went to Boston twice [we did watch ice hockey too 🤣] and I HAD to paint Denzil #art #painting #Glory

@only-si-chuck.bsky.social here's tonight's final one - but do start worrying because I won't stop now; someone shows interest in the stuff I do and they always regret it 🤣 Rhys Darby; another chap who if he is in a film or show I will watch it regardless #art #portrait #RhysDarby #portraitpainting

First for today @only-si-chuck.bsky.social - it is AM over here - I have to get on with my morning exercises. Not one of my better ones; painted a few years ago. @only-si-chuck.bsky.social last one for tonight but there will be more tomorrow - I have shown this one hundreds of times so I apologise. Robin Williams, I watched the documentary on him here in the UK and it was so sad it made me cry - the next day I had to paint him #RobinWilliams #art #portrait

Managed to smack a painting out. This is Clive, a friend and neighbour of my wife and me - he is a ex-pro golfer who got very ill a few years back and has problems now - he also has lovely greyhound called 'George' who he saved from an awful life. #art #artist #portrait #painting #portraitpainting

I created the box cover. I had the DVD but for some reason no box or cover - I also own the BluRay, Glory is one of my most favourite films. I created this from one of my paintings and put all the details on the back too -I'm going to give it to friend of mine. He doesn't know either....

therealfilmcricket.wordpress.comFlow, those lovely, lovely, animals working together for each other, helping to survive in a devastated world….fish you say? 🎥Hailee Steinfeld as Maddy Ross. Watch True Grit (2010) it is superb - then if you have never read or realised it is a book, read it - straight away, True Grit - Charles Portis (1968) - then you won't get annoying posts from me with my paintings on them.... #art #film #paintings #portrait #TrueGrit
