I'll still probably pick up a Steam Machine for the living-room on the big screen. I'm not lugging my gaming PC out or streaming it from my office. Can I build a faster PC for cheaper? Yes. Do I want to? No. Do I have more money than sense? Absolutely, and it's awesome.

Ocarina of Time is a top 10 game of all time for me, but its a hard sell saying I need a Switch 2 to play it, considering the Switch has been mostly a bust for me.

I'm doing my yearly harassment training at work. Not sure why they have a quiz. Its always like: "Michelle made a racist comment towards Dylan: A: Ignore it, not your problem B: Kick Michelle in the fucking throat C: Set the building on fire and move to the woods D: Report the incident to HR"

I've got about 170 hours into Crimson Desert. I don't recognize a single voice actor in the game, but damn did the casting director pick a shitload of people with serious talent. I also don't care what anyone says, Yann cracks me up and I like his missions.

Me when I found out Canada removed the generational limits on who can claim/obtain Canadian citizenship and I have a great great grandmother who was born in Ontario.

Tried the demo for Starship Troopers: Ulimate Bug War! That was a lot of fun, but no co-op? Really? This game would be perfect to play with a buddy. I was going to pick it up for that reason, but don't think it would hold my attention long enough in single player.

Never thought I'd get so excited over a bench, but this new Titan Fitness bench is solid, extremely stable and comfy to use. I can only imagine the gains will be better not having to compensate for a wobbly bench.

RIP Marcy adjustable weight bench, you gave me 12 years of service. You were kinda wobbly, not very comfortable, oddly shaped, but you did the job, now join the lifters in gym heaven and help those bros get their pump in. Hello new Titan Fitness bench, prepare to handle some heft.

That cryptic Fallout timer that ends in 11 hours, as much as I'd like to think its an announcement for a proper remaster, like Oblivion, I'm almost certain its going to be like FO4 double legendary edition, or a limited edition Nuka Cola by Jones Soda.

I adore everything Star Trek, but I'm still trying to figure out Starfleet Academy. I'm watching it, I'm enjoying it, but it feels more diet-Star Trek, or Star Trek flavored, not hooking me like Voyager, DS9, Discovery, TNG, etc etc

Final Fantasy hot take - while FF7 might be my favorite of the series (a basic bitch take), FF15 would be the runner up. Don't care what anyone has to say about it, it's always enjoyable for me, and one of the few I don't just start/stop, I always finish it when I spin up a new game.

Just finished my second playthrough of Mass Effect Andromeda - still a solid ass game. Whoever did all the sound design and effects, I hope they got paid a lot cuz hot damn, shit was good.

Me: wanting to get off work to go hit the gym then watch the new Fallout episode. The bug in our software I unfortunately just discovered at work and that I am now in charge of: "I don't fuckin' think so, ginger bitch"

Just checked out my Steam Replay 2025, looks like Coral Island comes in as the game I played most in 2025, not surprising, kept me busy for months. It was followed by Way of the Hunter, Surroundead, Fields of Mistria, and Generation Zero.

I am STOKED they're bringing back Stargate! I absolutely adore Atlantis, only comicon I've ever been to I went because Joe Flanigan was there. I really hope they have a bit of the campiness (doesn't always take itself serious) that made SG1 and Atlantis so much fun, and what made Universe...well....

Despite the hundreds of hours into Mass Effect, and even having a Mass Effect tattoo, I just learned today that your companions armor, at least in ME3 as far as I know, have different perks (e.g. +25% weapon damage, +25% power recharge time, etc), they aren't just cosmetic. I have failed Shepard.

I'm just going to assume at this point that the Mass Effect 'Civil War' Krogan image from yesterdays N7 day is just a movie poster or something, Blasto style. Wouldn't put it past Mike Gamble to send us down the wrong path to keep the real story a secret.

Finally got to give the My Time at Evershine alpha a go - aside from slightly odd character models, this bad boy has potential to be great. Definitely like how big the world is, as well as a lot more opportunities to build the community from the ground up, as opposed to just fixing/adding to it

My Time at Sandrock has been in my top 5 most played games on Steam for 2022, 2023, and 2024. Getting that itch again to do another playthrough just in time to add it to my top 5 for 2025.

Dearest mother, the battle of Portland rages on, my platoon is dug in between a bistro and an animal shelter. Earlier, an insurgent on a unicycle rode by, and the locals have been trying to feed us something called 'quinoa and kale salad' which I think is poison. Pray for my safe return.

Go camping for a few days to come back to an announced national guard deployment to my home town of Portland. The nasty girls bout to be really bored when they get there and realize there is fuck all going on. Enjoy Voodoo Donuts and the local cuisines that have quinoa for some fucking reason.

Patiently waiting for the Gears of War 2: Reloaded edition that may or may never come. I forgot how much fun GOW1 is, now need to get my older brother out to my house to split screen it like we did almost 20 years ago.
