Dems. Wanna get your polling out of the gutter? Stop talking about redrawing house maps in blue states and do it. Go big. Don't match them seat for seat. Blow them out of the water. Then endorse Mamdani. You're welcome. Love, Allison

85% of young men support Zohran Mamdani. 79% of young women support Zohran Mamdani. 67% of Jewish people aged 18-44 support Zohran Mamdani. 65% of Black people aged 18-44 support Zohran Mamdani. Would you have guessed *any* of that with how the media has covered all this?

Ryan Walters, the Oklahoma schools chief who wants bibles in the classroom and Christianity taught to kids, just got caught watching adult content. On his work computer. During a Board of Education meeting. Read that again. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/ryan-walte...

This week, I’m hosting The Daily Show Tuesday through Thursday. It’s my first time hosting anything on TV. Ever. I’ve spent years writing behind the scenes, learning from truly great and talented people. Now, for three nights, I get to sit at the desk and do it myself.

If my taxes don’t pave my roads or fix my bridges or keep my schools open 5 days a week or pay local teachers a living wage or help keep my hospital open or help my neighbor’s kid eat lunch or fund public television or my healthcare… Why the f’ck should I pay taxes?

I don't think I'll get a chance to watch the Superman movie for a while but I'm happy it's making all the worst people mad he's an immigrant superhero created by two Jewish kids whose parents fled persecution, and his overriding concern is helping people he absolutely should make them feel shitty

This is going to be a LONG post, so hitch your horses to the rail, grab a stool at the bar, and let's go. I'll be able to tell if you "read the thread". "The GOP is the cause of all of our problems!" Really. Really? Because it was only MAGA that opposed Mamdani. Except it wasn't.

The top nine Democrats (in terms of length of service) that are serving CURRENTLY have a total of 324 years in Congress. 324 years. 9 people. And that only includes the ones serving 50 years or more, not 45, not 30. Those 9 people started in Congress before Reagan got elected the first time.

The Democratic old guard is interested in nothing but staying in power. So maybe "vote blue no matter who" isn't actually working in reality? That gets us Kim Davis and John Fetterman, etc. Note: if anyone spews whataboutisms or other BS, I will straight up fucking block you. I ain't playing.

Both parties have raging racists. Both parties have raging misogynists. Both parties have raging queerphobes. Both parties cater to elites. While Bernie & AOC are talking to real people and Jasmine Crockett is trying to hold people accountable, Hakeem Jeffries held a talk with 150 tech company CEOs.

It was only MAGA that censured Al Greene for speaking out against Trump. Except it wasn't. It was only MAGA that voted against impeachment. Except it wasn't. It was only MAGA that signed into law the ability to deport people for the nefarious crime of shoplifting (Clinton). Except it wasn't.

It was only MAGA that ran a transphobic Senator candidate in a Senate run for Texas. Except it wasn't. It was only MAGA that 'changed sides' and voted for/supported Trump and claimed any call to abolish ICE was "inappropriate and outrageous" (Fetterman). Except it wasn't.

It was only MAGA that voted to get passed the bill that allows any (Trump) administration to yank 501C status from charities by saying that they were "supporting terrorism". Except it wasn't. It was only MAGA that consistently threw trans people under the bus to try and win votes. Except it wasn't.
