My Birthday is tomorrow and kicked off the festivities with 3 of my favorite people- and the hubs, for dinner. I have another week of work then we are off to Florida to hop on cruise ship for 10 days of well deserved vacation. We can’t wait to just say fuck it and relax!

We ordered some wall art for our new place and they have arrived! The witch will go over our small bar in the living-room, and the piano man will be going in my music themed bedroom with the records and turntable. We absolute love them!

All of Ed Sheeran’s opening acts and his touring band have dropped out of the remaining dates of his ‘Loop’ tour in solidarity with Palestine and Macklemore.

The hubs is out of state for the long weekend, so I get to play my records without the headphones! Tonight and the next three nights! Starting with #Glitterbox and gonna end with the Beastie Boys on Monday morning just for the neighbors.

My oldest and dearest friend is in town on business and stayed over the weekend. 42 years we have been friends- family actually. Great time catching up for the past 2 days and and I don’t believe we have stopped talking and laughing. Even got to talk to the kids and the hubs. Uncle Douglas lol

My partner leaves for a long planned vacation tomorrow on a trip/cruise in the Mediterranean for the next 25 days. I get to start a 25 day vacation too; by myself with our dog, my turntable and records in the house by myself. I’m gonna rearrange the furniture for sure and drive his car.

Back from a 2420 mile roadtrip with my bestie from Co to CA and back. The Subi took a beating against the bugs. Total of 7 states now.

I just can not “people” anymore today. I’m going to the mountains and soak in the hot springs!

Went to dinner with my best str8 friend tonight and we did an 80’s style drug deal in the parking lot - except it was shoes on the hood of the big black truck lol. #kicks

So, I did a thing today- I took off my Apple Watch and turned off my phone, got a coffee and went for a walk in the big park by the house. It was 80 here in Denver today! I was in shorts and a t shirt, in March, in Colorado! Best 2 hours of my life! I suggest trying it out.

So, Mother Nature did this outside our garage, Happy Friday.

Not making resolutions, just goals for 2026. Trip with my boys to SF to eat, rave, shop, repeat. Heading back to the Caribbean for 10 days again, and a roadtrip to Cali to see my brother and Kim with my work wife Gabby. Easy- cause it’s all booked lol!

My brother in Cali sent me a picture of what Santa put up in his house- couldn’t post the entire picture but this painting by our grandmother I just had to share. There are two of these in the family. I got goosebumps! Family history for sure. It really is the small things.

We will be watching Palm Royale tonight- not the orange guy.

Denver finally got some real snow today. My dog is pissed that our seat is closed for the winter.

As a healthy time out from daily chaos- tonight my tribe got together for our monthly dinner. We leave our phones at the door (after pix, of course), we eat, there is wine, and we talk about travels and upcoming trips. Anything but politics. I was a great dinner

Our new little man Diego is deaf. We are cool with it and he has adapted well after only 24 hours in a new space. he has a big brother Archie that has taken charge in showing him the ropes around the block so far.

We got a new boy today! We named him Diego. Hes was “left” at work today at the front door, so of course I had to take hime home.

It’s almost 1 AM here in Denver- I am up doing last minute laundry and cleaning the house for my brothers visit on Thursday. Also making a Beastie Boys playlist for his visit. #HeySiri lol
