The HHS sent letters this week to multiple medical organizations, demanding statements on their positions regarding gender-affirming care for transgender youth. Many of the organizations have noted that gender-affirming care is based on years of study and careful implementation.

Health officials in Pennsylvania have announced another death related to measles, the sixth overall in the state and the U.S. since the beginning of this year. Officials identified the person who died as a 39-year-old woman who was reportedly not vaccinated against the virus.
