Just had to drop $30 on a winter coat for my niece. The school provided one, after asking her size. They provided one a size too small on for an autistic child who HATES tight clothing. Not worth a fight, I just used my food money. Paypal.me/starbroken if you can help me cover the coat AND eat.

it is a bleak time, trying to find internships for our students who are interested in journalism 🫠

I’ll reiterate: if I don’t name enough for housing AND food, I don’t eat today. That’s bare minimum 130 dollars I’m fucked. I cannot use afterpay. And I’ll lose the account soon at this rate because I can’t pay. But then I won’t be able to even get rooms worse case I don’t know what to do

@temporarygoodbye.bsky.social 🫂I beg and implore you to take a look at the pinned post on my page. I beg you to save the little girl's life, please donate even just $5, I beg you.

We're gonna see shit in the next few decades that will make the great depression look pleasant in comparison. But there's not gonna be a new deal to bail us out because the bourgeoisie are too stupid to offer any concessions, even to save their own hides. You might have to literally eat the rich.

It's why they panicked when Mamdani opened those city-run grocery stores. The idea of poor people given any relief fills capitalists with severe anxiety. Actual demon psychology.

They tell you "just eat rice and beans!" for now, but soon that's gonna turn into "just eat wild dandelions you dirty entitled poors!" when rice and beans becomes too expensive. Anything but a living wage or giving people food stamps.

Economy so bad that food once viewed as exclusively for poor people is now too expensive for them and gets them labelled as "living beyond their means". I'm sorry but if fast food, stuff literally designed to be cheap and plentiful, is considered a luxury, then this is a failed state.

Next week is Indigenous Peoples' Day and also my birthday. I have several wishes this year. 1. Federal recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day. 2. A robot body because mine is not holding up so well these days. 3. To get my ko-fi fully funded cuz see #2. ko-fi.com/johnniejae/g...

t.me/noel_reports... ❗️Ukraine’s parliament approved legislation regulating education rights for national minorities and Indigenous peoples whose languages are official EU languages, with 266 MPs voting in favor. Ukrainian remains the primary language of the educational process.

Today we celebrate the people who first called this land home. We remember the struggles and tragedies they endured. We honor their place in and contributions to the shared story of America. #indigenouspeoplesday
