"I'm sorry it took me 2 weeks to reply to your email, I do not abide by the culture of imediciacy to which you appear to subscribe, life is too short and too heavy to constatntly be in a state of fight or flight due to an inbox, but to answer your question no"

It's wild to think it's almost november, but it's also wild to think that we spend every single day in survival mode as our brains were not designed to comprehend the pain of the world conveyed through a pocket sized tablet of nightmares so it's understandable that none of us can understand time.

Guillermo Del Toro dropping another one liner that’s exactly how I feel about AI slop, the “punishment” is built in

"Do you want us to remember your log in so you don't have to do this process again?" "Yeah that sounds really good!" "Okay just log in again then" "Easy" "Who the fuck are you"

The news is pretty good at the moment because it's 'The AI companies are trying to kill us all' and 'no one can afford to be alive anymore' and 'we have created a society built to appease the greed of the few at the detriment of the many' and then ask 'why are the young people rioting'.

Got complimented on some ideas in a meeting today and replied with "Yes I used some autistic license" and that was the best thing I have ever said out loud and no one in the meeting laughed they just looked very concerned.

I don't mean to brag but last week in therapy I told a story and my therapist started crying and I am pretty sure that means I have defeated this therapist and can now move onto the boss therapist and then win therapy forever

"very confused how anyone is enjoying being alive right now it must be pretty great if you pay attention to nothing and care about nothing and have no soul and don't feel the need to constatntly scream into the void" it was shortly after this his co-workers stopped asking him how he was

So you're saying I have to work every day and also look after myself and also look after my mental health and also be responsible all so I don't just spend my time screaming and the reward is not being allowed to scream all the time

Human beings were designed to experience and travel and love and create art and the reason everyone is depressed is that we have to sit in front of machines filled with every nightmare imaginable and say ‘nothing from me’ in teams calls every day just so we can afford crisps

"We need a poster for our restaurant that makes the food look delicious so we get more customers" "Okay I've used AI to make it and all the food looks it's made of maggots and been at the bottom of a bin for three years" "Perfect put it everywhere"

Sometimes I think the tech world has too much influence over our society and is run exclusively by idiots and then I remember that a few years ago all the tech bros all spent their life savings on pictures of cartoon monkeys and the fear deepens.

My first morning in the Omaze house. I didn’t sleep. I could hear crying from behind the door I’m not allowed to open. The only thing to eat is frozen prawns. I went for a wander round the 4 acre garden and found a box of VHS tapes marked ‘For the next one’. I’m sure it’s fine. I’m sure it’s all fine

“I am late diagnosed autistic” Boring No mention of trains “Twas in my autumn years that I unearthed the curiosities of the human condition that preceeded my adoration for locomotives” Sounds fucking cool as fuck Might get to start talking about trains

You could watch the new harry potter series and directly contribute to the net worth of a vile human being whose sole purpose has become demonising marginalised and vulnerable people or you could read another book like a fucking grown up.

A good way to spot that someone is neurotypical is that they will send a teams message saying "hey have you got 5 minutes" like it isn't the worst thing you could type to another human being.

The third largest negative word being "insults" seems an odd description of someone and makes me assume they've had to change it because lots of people called him a cunt.

YouGov@yougov.co.uk

Ahead of Reform UK's party conference, we asked Britons to describe Nigel Farage in three words 71% used at least one negative term, with the most common being "racist" and "liar" 27% used at least one positive term, with the most common being "patriotic" and "honest" yougov.com/en-gb/articl...

The 5 Simpsons lines I’ve uttered most off the top of my head: 1. You'll have to speak up I'm wearing a towel. 2. Sex Cauldron? I thought they closed that place down! 3. Cuba eh? Take her down smithers 4. TRAMAMPOLINE 5. I hate every ape i see from chimpan-A to chimpanzee

The 5 Simpsons lines I’ve uttered most off the top of my head: 1. Always twirling, twirling towards freedom 2. It's bringing love, break it's legs 3. Stupid sexy Flanders 4. It's still good, it's just a little airborne 5. Seee My Vest, see my vest, it's authentic gorilla chest

I for one am happy to see neurodivergent people having their validity questioned on a daily basis as after lifetimes of trying to survive in a world that's not built for them, systems of care being underfunded and interacting in a society under educated in these issues, we have had it too easy.

In the Guardian’s review of ‘The Great ADHD Myth?’, Lucy Mangan writes that the mother of a boy featured in the documentary “decides to keep him off the drugs”. In the end credit sequence of the programme, it says she put him back on the medication “after poor exam results”.

Maybe turning every conversation into 'Us VS Them' isn't actually journalism in any way and is in fact a way for talentless grifters to capitalise on othering and division that is now celebrated by the media with no care for the real people or communities it targets. Maybe.
