I wonder how many companies are freezing hiring or just slowing down the process due to AI. It's hard to find real data, especially knowing that the market hasn't been great lately.

"To be passive is to let others decide for you. To be aggressive is to decide for others. To be assertive is to decide for yourself. And to trust that there is enough, that you are enough." — The Choice (Edith Eva Eger)

Can't remember the number of times I have been told that I was weak for exposing my vulnerabilities. Over time, I’ve learned to set aside my ego, allowing others to reveal my weaknesses to me. This has enabled me to grow as both a human being and a professional.

Just issued a new post. I’ve never seen vulnerability as a weakness, but "Dare to Lead" by Brené Brown made me realize how much power it holds. techashuman.com/blog/the-str...

I have asked ChatGPT to make an analogy and create an image with the difference between SSR and the use of RSC, and this is what came out:

👨‍🍳 React SSR vs Server Components – Explained with Pizza 🍕 Server-Side Rendering (SSR) Imagine ordering a pizza and having it delivered fully baked to your door. 🥬 React Server Components (RSC) Now imagine the chef sends just the toppings and sauce you need—nothing extra.

Companies are getting faster at executing and putting features out there, but the tech debt is pilling up. I wonder if with the fast execution rate we have now is actually easier to building something from scratch rather than taking care of an endless tech debt.

🧪 I’ve been testing some of the latest AI coding tools to see what they can actually do beyond the hype. Built a couple of small apps and shared my thoughts in this post. Spoiler: great for prototyping, not quite ready to replace developers. Here’s what I learned 👇 techashuman.com/blog/ai-vibe...

techashuman.comAI vibe coding productivity and limits | TechAsHumanAI agents and vibe coding are everywhere lately. It's catchy to say developers are going to be replaced, and while that makes for a good headline, I wanted to test it myself before concluding.

Every day, way more knowledge is created than we could possibly consume. Therefore, if we define ignorance as the ratio of our knowledge over all knowledge, we can mathematically prove that we become more ignorant by the day, no matter what we do. I’ll let that sink in for a bit.

One of the best features of Bluesky is that fewer people are saying that development life is over due to AI. Maybe shitposting doesn't pay off here. Which is very much appreciated!

back in the day, IE11 was widely used, but with time, it slowly stopped being the default browser. That's why having a deprecation process and support thresholds can help you make better decisions.

Making up the decision between headless CMS, Notion or just hold the md files in the repository is really blocking me from upgrading my blog.

Currently using Notion. But the API to get the blocks and format them to components is a bit painful if you want something custom.

Using React Router v7 and Tailwind v4 as both plugins of Vite is such a big upgrade in terms of developer experience. This deserves way more recognition.

From where do people get the energy to do a advent of code at the end of the year? I envy them. I have been on low power mode for a couple weeks already.

Man City shows what happens when you ignore technical debt. Fixing foundations, hiring the right talent, and planning long-term turns weaknesses into dominance.

Interesting replies, while most of the frameworks are focusing on SSE, the majority of the products are still rendering in the client.

What kind of React app do you get paid to work on (not hobby projects)? - CSR, no SSR - Isomorphic SSR - RSC Again, if you don’t use React at a paid gig, don’t reply. If you maintain multiple, reply with the one that makes the most money (the product, not yourself)

Migrating to react-router v7 (aka Remix v3) and @tailwindcss.com v4 at the same time was probably not the best idea. Since both have made similar calls, the process is not that bad. Getting there tho!
