Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Spent yesterday night and today's morning fixing a bug caused by my dumbness........ and blindness.... Forgot to take a console filter, so I couldn't see that I had a small validation error(extra space between mime rules....) Life of a developer

🌞Good morning to start day 8 of my build in public challenge : Coding the upload logic with R2 as my storage of choice and ffmpeg as my encoding tool Will need alot of tests with this logic as its more complex than I tought initially

There's nothing worse than database schema changes... Change one thing in the schema having to change models, requests, controllers, frontend, types, frontend validation....................

Day 7 starts of my build in public challenge: -Woke up and recorded a youtube video -Working on the notes for my next video Got some calls to make to see if I can close some warm leads for my agency

End of day of my build in public challenge: -Started coding the most important part of the vitelnk(the upload) -Call with potential client in France -Recorded and posted a new YouTube video reviewing a concrete company website and showing how I would improve it -1 more waitlister for vitelnk 💪🏾💪🏾

I'm honestly considering paying 200€/month for a cowork place for a few months just so I can concentrate and get shit done. Currently living with my mom and baby sister and it's impossible to get some peace or quality work done.

Today was a super unproductive day... Started my cpap therapy treatment 2 weeks ago and it's taking a while to get used to it. Somedays I wake up perfectly fine Somedays I can't sleep because the mask is leaking from my constant turning Finished my 10k and tomorrow I start coding vitelnk.

Day 6 of my 90 day challenge to buildinpublic: -Super good start of the day as I've already have my first vitelnk waitlister 😎 I guess that's enough validation time to build 🏃🏾

Day 5 of my 90 day challenge to buildinpublic -Potential client call could potentially put me at 1k MRR -Client called and wanted to get a quote for 2 more sites as the one I built him is getting him 60 high ticket leads a month(6 months in) -Finished all my tasks for today.

Figured out why my vitelnk submissions were redirecting to my api instead of showing the loading & successful message... I was tinkering with a GSAP way to show a carousel of words like leads, clients, team, and I have some overlapping code that I don't care to solve now(not a priority).

Day 5 of my 90 day challenge to buildinpublic: -Fix a wierd vitelnk waitlist form bug -Reach out to 5 potential users -Launch updated agency client gardening website -Record 2 new youtube videos(marketing done for the long run) -Have fun

End of day 3 of my 90-day day buildinpublic challenge: -Finished my vitelnk waitlist -80% work done on a client website now I just need to add location-relevant images for each new page

I kept having these midday energy crashes(unless I'm coding too much brain stimulation), no matter what I did or ate Now I just drink a shot of espresso and I'm actually productive.

One of my proudest achievements in my technical journey 🔽 My form component in my website builder(lanndi) it's so complex and fully customizable, it's ridiculous: -Form states -Frontend and backend validation -Fully customizable and expandable fields -CMS Makes creating waitlists so damn easy.

Day 2 of my 90-day challenge to glory: -Finished vitelnk assets & bought the domain -90% of the vitelnk waitlist done(created using lanndi) -Sent a lot of cold messages to warm leads about some of the results my clients are getting, and already getting some good hits

Honestly every app I'm building is a problem I've had to face lanndi - easy landing pages, waitlists Freelann - local clients website hosting/exporting without vendor lock in vitelink - easy way send/share private videos to clients

After a big hiatus due to health problems, where every day I felt energyless and not myself. I'm back with a big challenge for myself to get me back on track and grow both my Web dev/SEO agency and my Saas I will be sharing my journey, shortcomings, struggles, victories and everything in between.

I've officially launched the waitlist of both my apps which target different niches in the no code space but for now my focus is still my web dev and SEO agency as it's putting food on the table once I reach +100 waitlisters on any I'll be letting people in to get feedback.

Little update on my agency progress: 💲Best month revenue wise(1335€): -585€ MRR and 750€ website website sold 🤕Worst month mentally as cold calling is super taxing mentally and physically Putting in place SEO to move from cold outreach to inbound leads

I finnaly figured out how to decrease meetings no shows! Qualify! Qualify and qualify When you talk to a potential client you have to qualify(ask questions) them to know if they can afford your service and if they need the solution you are offering.

In parallel to growing my web dev agency I'm also building a website builder: -lanndi I'm currently slightly pivoting from a cloud solution to a visually build your static site and export your to self host. Cloud is super expensive right now this move will cost me only 12€/m vs 100€+

After 390 cold calls this month I have 0 new clients but I have 500-750 monthly revenue in the pipeline hoping to close these. Also might be dropping a client, doesn't understand SEO takes times, wants instant results, hasn't paid this month invoice and hasn't responded to my messages and calls.

300 calls in 2025, couple of meetings no shows and 0 clients yet 🙃 Changing my script to better qualify leads and provide more value. Have a pretty strong lead for a roofing company that might land me 500€/m 🙏🏽🙏🏽 need to nail this meeting pitch.

Officialy moving on from x/twitter that platform has died and has been uninstalled looking forward to sharing my progress more frequently here. 🚀

I will soon release a waitlist for my website builder lanndi so I can start getting some interested people into the beta and giving me feedback

Honestly I don't see myself getting back to doing SaaS until I reach 5k MRR with my freelance work I'm 10% off the goal. I tried for a year and failed multiple times burned out massively now I just need a reset and some stability for a change.

Hardest about building websites(with a focus on SEO) for small businesses is to make sure they know that it takes time for the website to take off as most clients want instant results as they are paying me monthly. Got them 21 clicks in 1 month with 180 impressions and not pages are indexed yet.

I wake up happy every day! Why? I don't have to take public transport to go to work and lose hours of my day sitting in transit I work for myself and don't answer to any boss besides my clients I do what I love 🙏🏽 To a prosperous 2025

🚀Just closed my biggest client yet! Super hard one, client had previous bad experiences with devs had to convince him why I wouldn't be like them and by being honest, professional and good at negotiating his ROI I increased his budget from 100€/m to 250€/m. 💵I'm at 535€ MRR in just one month!

💵One of the most important rules I've learned about freelancing is to always get paid upfront when you freelance. People will try to take advantage of you. Don't let them ❌

Woke up did some deep work delivered client website ahead of schedule. Had to convince him that background images suck for conversion and page speed and he will lose clients with it. Now in the gym training back and cardio.

Today's stats: -50 cold calls -1 meeting booked and flaked by the prospective client... -Two leads secured for January There's nothing worse than setting mettings and getting flaked on

I'm too young(27) and not well traveled. I'm going to become a digital nomad for 2 years as soon as I reach my goal 🙏🏽 💵2250€ MRR(super attainable) as soon as I reach it I'm out for an experience of a lifetime I plan on going to Rio, Floripa, Bali, Da nang, Pattaya and Bangkok for now.

I plan to reach 2250€ MRR In this next two months 🙏🏽I need around 7-11 new clients I will be cold calling like crazy even tho it's the low season but it might workout for me as Portuguese people are usually more generous in this period plus they get their Christmas bonuses 🤑

Here are my numbers for my website development services for small businesses: -30 days -200 ish cold calls(super low need to increase) -80% contact made with owner -20 meetings booked -16 meetings that client flaked on -4 meetings attended -2 clients closed -285€ MRR

Just secured my second CLIENT!! Closing in on the third soon. My web design, development and SEO services for small businesses is taking off. +135€ MRR added 🤑🤑 Total 285€ MRR

One thing I hate about cold calling and freelancing web development is that even when you setup meeting people just flake without warning... Alot of anxiety prior to the meetings Alot of time lost preparing But we keep moving forward got some solid leads that if everything goes to plan 1000€ MRR🤑
