I like nerdy stuff, cult TV and films, books with a sense of fun, and nature. You might find me writing, gardening, out for a walk or bike ride, foraging or brewing, or just watching Star Trek. My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/aaSTF

Rest in peace Eric Bauza. I've really enjoyed this iteration of Looney Tunes and I hoped it would go on, maybe it will but Eric has been such a huge part of it, I dunno. He seemed like a good guy on panels and I only ever saw people say nice things about him.

I bought this a couple of years ago, to try and improve my thinking and writing about films (my work writing tends to be technical and often boiled down to tables and bullet points), but haven't used it yet Starting next week I'm going to post them here, and we'll see how I get on

YES! FINALLY! I've been waiting for this film to get a good riffing for years.

I remember going to screenings of Snow White, The Fox & The Hound, and Basil The Great Mouse Detective in a close run of weeks. I'd think it was when Basil came out so they probably had a run of Disney films in the lead up to it. Snow White's likely the first film I remember going to see.

There's a corner on our estate where people keep leaving out household items, presumably free to a good home. So far I've picked up an extension cord and an oil heater with the (unearned) confidence of someone who hasn't seen the 90s Amityville Horror TV movies.
