"Trans rights extremists".... It's extremist to recognize and support a demographic that's under assault by the political machine. Real "progressive".

VOTE Progressive 2026/2028@flyer2043.bsky.social

It’s clear you are a trans rights extremist so have a good life with your fellow tankies and I won’t be ever joining your extremist movement.

So~ this is bullshit. If we recognize basic human decency as a right, trans people deserve it. If we recognize access to Medicare as a right, trans people deserve it. You legitimately have to reject the idea that trans people are people to "make sacrifices". Here's a not-supporter.

I'm sorry but if *any* political candidate stating they don't believe trans people should have access to medical care, bathrooms, sports, etc. and be treated as the gender *THEY ARE* rather than the arbitrarily assigned gender dictated by one single chromosome pair doesn't piss you off...

We've never seen rights walked *backwards* in this country until the last decade or so. Slavery was (mostly) abolished. Black people (men first) could vote. Women could vote. Same sex marriage. Now things trans people viewed as a right are being taken away. By democrats. And people just shrug.

This seems like a no-brainer. So why are the brainless zombies in office not doin' it? Ooooooh~... they negative brainers... mah bad.

“A single-payer universal health care system could cover every American, save more than 100,000 lives a year, and still cost $1 trillion less than the system it would replace, according to a new preprint study led by researchers at the Yale School of Public Health.” ysph.yale.edu/news-article...

Anyone interested in a "superheroes" book where the super powered beings just say "fuck that shit" and rip everything apart? I want to write a book, at least one, and can't decide whether to roll with a neat Isekai setting where everyone on planet Earth is yeeted into another world, or superheroes.

The Iran war as of 7/24 has an estimated casualty rate of 18-20 US soldiers. What everyone fails to scream about are the estimated 1,800-7,650 Iranian deaths. Or the remaining 1,301-10,635 deaths Iranian, Israeli, and Labonese civilians as well as the Hezbollah fighters and other Gulf-state deaths

Getting pissed at the orange diaper streak is all well and good. But I feel like we're getting pissed about the wrong numbers. Why are we treating the school kids we blew up like a fridged character in a fictional story?

The numbers, I'll note, don't include wounded. These are *estimated* deaths. And the reason for all this misery, pain, and loss is directly attributed to one man.

This. There's no "truth" to the idea that trans girls have any advantages over OTHER girls (they *are* girls, first and foremost). Under 12, all humans are biologically similar. You don't develop distinction physically until puberty. That's what puberty IS. Ask any human development specialist.

As for them being in the girls locker room with *other* girls, why is that an issue? How many child on child cases of SA have you heard about? Kids interact with each other all the GD time, not just in locker rooms. You're better off being suspicious of your pastor than little Katie.

Cool, he did the right thing. Next step? Make it right to the woman he R'ed. I don't believe for an instant the DNC "orchestrated" this. But we'll see, if they pick another neoliberal shit bagger, that'd be evidence enough against them as a party. www.cnn.com/2026/07/08/p...

Really need people to stop saying that the Minnesota 15 are going to be fine, that their charges will be dropped like ours. That was four days before trial, was NOT supposed to happen, and only did because of persistent, diligent, and incredible work by our lawyers.

So this tool did what is commonly known as an ad hominem. The argument starts by me positing that the Democratic Party should, if they reclaim the house, immediately file articles of impeachment. Not once but monthly. He fires back saying that won't do any good and cites the past 2 attempts.

I make a point to counter his statements with actual argument, then make the observation as a side note. For it to be ad hominem, I would instead have to dismiss his argument out of hand and state that as the reason. "You don't have children, you can't offer good advice on raising them".

Instead of addressing my actual point directly, he attempts to make it about me personally, and dismisses the entire argument based on that alone. Stop talking past people. Listen to them, understand their message. Then consider responses that address that message specifically.

The quoted post is his first and only attempt to address the main point of my argument. And it focuses on *my* trust rather than my argument for the people's trust. This brings me to "ad hominem" and what it actually means. When you replace attacking the argument with attacking the person.

People far to often associate insult with ad hominem, which is wrong. Ad hominem is a fallacy, it has to be an argument to be ad hominem. Insulting someone is just being rude, and conveys an entirely different point seperate from any argument. Like me calling him a "feckless apologist"

This leads to me stating that his response is irrelevant. Removing Trump isn't necessarily the goal. As long as the Senate is controlled by redcaps (google it), or even modestly populated by them, that's essentially impossible. No, the point (one of them) is to do *sonething* significant.

Showing the American people actual dedication to fighting would help rebuild trust in the Democratic party. He never argues against that, instead committing largely to his strawman argument against it being useless because Trump won't be removed, his support appears to have grown, blah blah blah.

Epic incel (Benjamin Ryan) continues harassing Harvard Law School clinical instructor (Alejandra Caraballo) because he's transphobic af. High School dropout and Psychology enthusiast (Temo) suspects this may be due a moral dilemma caused by Ben possibly being a trans person, but thinking it's bad.

F*ckin wild. Everything about this pisses me off. I don't know who Simone Biles is but why is her name preceded by "NFL Wife" as if that's a f*cking title? "Here's lies Misogynist McQuade Arnold"

Qasim Rashid, Esq.@qasimrashid.com

Imagine being the most decorated gymnast in history, almost dying, and media referring to you as “NFL Wife” as your greatest achievement.😑 Misogyny is a helluva drug. Smh. Truly hope Simone is safe and makes a full recovery. What a horrible experience.

Hey, just as a thought regarding prisons. Why do we keep all prisoners locked in a prison? How hard would it be to have an enforced tradeschool program where non-violet and low violent convicts attend daily classes, weekly therapy, and given access to excercise and taught healthy practices?

They then go home at night. With their family. Where they can be fathers or mothers or siblings or whatever they happen to be. We waste so much money on security and housing for inmates who probably aren't problematic in society.
