php isn't bad the people who left their php 7 sites running and had to desperately upgrade their entire site through 6 years of php versions are the problem

fun morning of patching servers got everything up in pretty much 30 minutes from the php update apart from `osekai-new` (hosts legacy osekai stuff) that took longer due to being on an older php version all back up and smoothly running now though!

i took things offline last night but decided the php.ini change would be enough to take things back up again turns out making choices like that at 5am is a bad idea, in retrospect keeping it offline overnight would have been the safer choice.

when something like this happens again, i won't be waiting for more info to take action, better safe than fucked i can find ZERO evidence of any abuse or exploits used against my servers in the time between last night (~5am UTC) and this morning (~1pm UTC) when i took the servers down again

php update is out for anyone following along with the nightmares debian doesn't seem to have packages out yet, so if you have sites on debian best to keep things shut out for now imo, better safe than fucked
