When Cassette Beasts 2002 launches, those of you who journeyed through the first game will be able to import your history from CB1 into the game via a save game code! It'll carry over your relationships and history, and let your continue your story as the same character!

I love it when blender freezes and I lose just the bit of work where I finally figure everything out At least I should be able to do it again... hopefully

Random thought for the next Minecraft update. Why does potent sulfur have data? It must be planned to store something. What could it store? What about a potion? So you can apply any effect to a player. That also goes together well with the mini game aspect.

Vite plus from @voidzero.dev is something that I didn't know I needed until I tried it. Just one CLI that sets everything up, especially in non-wsl windows that I am stuck with for reasons atm

A water pick is just a mini pressure washer. This revelation has made cleaning small things 3x easier and 10x as cursed.

Yay gadgetbridge now has health connect support, so I can set up my very cool 30โ‚ฌ smart ring to automatically forward steps and sleep to Google fit without their sketchy app.

What is everyone excited for in #fosdem? I have a few talks eyed out but have a lot of open time between them.

There are some great people, @yanthomas.dev included, looking for their next adventure! Oh hey, and me included, too! I'm not in a rush, but keeping my eye out for the right opportunity in docs or community leadership. If you've liked using or contributing to Astro, maybe part of that came from me!

The part of the team that worked full-time under The Astro Technology company did join Cloudflare -- and we are all happy for them! But, the overall Astro team is bigger: some of us worked as contractors or voluntarily, and currently depend on the very hard-to-get OSS sponsorships.

๐Ÿ’ก CSS Tip! Two circles, one arrow, and CSS magic. ๐Ÿช„ A cool demo packed with modern features (anchor positioning, attr(), container queries, shape(), and more!) ๐Ÿคฉ css-tip.com/connected-ci... The shape and position of the arrow are fully controlled using CSS (Yes, there is a collision detection).

Out of curiosity tested out @vite.dev 8 on my huge @astro.build project that has been around since it still used snowpack, it just worked with an override and dev has never been this snappy before! Great work to everyone involved!

Don't know if it's just placebo, but re-pasting my laptop (it was so dry, I almost had to scrape it off lol) seems to have fixed almost all of my gaming stuttering issues, even though I have a beefy GPU and the CPU wasn't even at 50%. I guess it was just throttling whatever thunderbolt uses.

Found it 20 mins ago but @typst.app is sooooo good. I can't believe I have spent the best half of my studies fighting with word for my coding courses. If you ever have used word, this is all you need to hear: You write `#outline(title: "Table Of Contents", depth: 1)` and it just... works.

Got a few wall-mounted magsafe rings and now I know the convenience of an astronaut being able to hover things conveniently in reach

Somehow it just didn't occur to me that you can mix syrup and bottled carbonated water to make your own soda. And it's pretty good as well.

Turns out my pixel just comes with a Linux shell??? Probably won't replace my laptop but the potential for it to do that scares me Anyways here is @astro.build just... fully running on it with an nvm install and 2 commands!
