Intersex people are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, yet their experiences can often be overlooked or misunderstood. This #IntersexAwarenessDay, take a moment to learn, challenge assumptions, and help create a world where everyone feels seen and accepted.

Using someone’s correct pronouns is a mark of respect, just like using their name.

Whether you’re exploring your gender or want to support someone who is, our trained LGBTQIA+ volunteers are here to listen and answer any questions you may have.

Today is National Coming Out Day! In 2025, 33% of our conversations about coming out were with people who contacted us because they feared rejection from others. If you’re feeling uncertain or afraid about coming out, we’re here to listen. Our service is free, anonymous, and confidential.

Silver Pride UK supports members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are over the age of 50, aiming to promote connection and inclusion by providing a space for older LGBTQIA+ people to celebrate their identities and experiences.

Walthamstow Trades Hall is proud to host Silver Pride, in partnership with Switchboard, Positive East and Queerwell. This event is aimed at LGBTQIA+ people aged 50+, but we welcome attendees of all ages to celebrate this vibrant day with us.
