Finished the forgotten city. I give it an 8/10. The developers obviously had a clear vision and executed on it perfectly. Combat felt a bit out of place but the constant twists felt natural and rewarding. (There should be an award for the "Karen" line alone)

I have perfected my stress management so finely that I'm constantly one cup of tea away from a panic attack. Now I don't need to stop working 🫠

Tried Persona for the first time. It's both boring and cringe. I don't understand the appeal. The dialogue and editing are *awful*. If it was camp, at least it would be fun.

HEY SOUND DESIGNERS - a friend has passed on their need for some quick adhoc freelance work. 300£ p/day. Something about a theatrical digital experience for children. Message me for details

Watching people interact with AI is so sad. It's like watching my child put an excess of energy into trying to avoid brushing her teeth.

I realize now that as a kid, low poly graphics never felt unrealistic, instead it felt like I was looking at an actual real thing, through a distorted screen - like a bathroom window.

Jet2 is ridiculous. All the other plane company names could not have been taken. I guess next year we'll see the launch of "_Planes"

I'm going!

I had a dream where Kellogs released a cereal mascot smash brothers clone, based on those 8 packs of mini cereal boxes. The Golden nuggets prospector was hammering the coco pops monkey.

‪My new business - selling soft drinks with high SEO searches as names - "when do the clocks go forward" (lemon) - "Restaurants near me" (peach) - "how many litres in a gallon" (grape) - "why am i so tired all the time" (energy drink) - "photoshop online free" (raspberry)

That bit in movies where they flash back and the child versions of the characters have the same hairstyle and clothes is the most hilariously lazy trope

We watched the end of the century Compressed on a tiny screen A dead star collapsing and we could see That something was ending

Welcome! I'm a game writer and narrative designer from 🇮🇩🇧🇻, now UK-based. Over the past decade, I've worked freelance on a bunch of cool games, including the ones below. Indie/AAA, sole writer/team co-writing, joined early/recruited late. All sorts of shenanigans. Feel free to connect and say hey!

Game thought - what if the player creates the music of the game passively, as the repercussion of their actions? Such as matching the rhythm to how often they do specific actions, or favoring instruments for spending more time with different equipment.

What about a tower defense which is about urban planning

Alright, hear me out: cozy wargames. All the fun of gluing tiny parts to plastic models and then painting them, but with 98% less Catholicism. I really feel like this is an untapped market.
