The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

Denying healthcare to Trans people, especially Trans youth, is like kicking a paraplegic out of their wheelchair and telling them to learn to walk. It’s cruel. Any doctor or hospitals that abandoned treatment of Trans kids are participating in a genocide. They should care for them and take any risk

Misgendering Trans people is not just discrimination it’s rejecting our very existence, and denies to us our humanity. The attack against Trans people, our rights unprotected by a flawed constitution, is the perpetration of a genocide. Trans rights are not an idea, it’s inclusion in our own society

Keeping Trans girls out of girls sports is transphobia. You’re scared of girls playing sports with girls? Or do you hate Trans people and you don’t want them to play games, to make friends, or to be happy? That’s what it really is. Sure, call us out our gender in your excuse, and you made my point.

As a Trans woman, any hint of anger expressed is going to be used against us. Cis women could go apeshit and no one questions their gender identity, but let us have one bad day, and our entire people are called into question.

The first time a Trans woman plays in a cis women dominated sport as the first Trans woman to play they’ll basically be our Jackie Robinson.

There are people, even some trans people, who think that we can give up sports to appease bigots. That if we give up on sports, this all goes away. That is a lie. I have reported on this for years, and EVERY state that passed a sports ban as a moderate compromise has gone on to pass worse.

I’ll never understand people who can enjoy the cuisine of immigrants yet support those same people expelled from the country. America is a diverse nation, every nationality is here. Our diversity is what makes us great. Food is the introduction to understanding a culture. Pull up a seat and learn.
