@thestranger.com Have you thought about doing an article on the ACA? The question: if ACA tax credits are not extended, who owes the difference? If my portion is $86 and the tax credits is $2489, then insurance companies get to come after you for the difference.

I don’t think people realize that if you have health insurance through the ACA, and the tax credits are bot extended (which they currently are not), that the individuals will owe that money and collection agencies will come after them foe the difference.
