Might call it quits on Skybound Transformers, or maybe just wait for trades. Wanted to give Kirkman a fair shot, but it's just not sparking joy like the DWJ era.

This might have been the jumping of the shark for me. This didn't feel like a creative or inspired choice of characters to bring into this story. It felt like a toy shelf of Kirkman's favorite toys from totally different series and canons. It's Skinner giving the 1st Prize ribbon to Star Wars toys.

I had always thought game case art devolved into generic close ups of main characters, and I wasn't giving Nintendo enough credit.

The Switch 2 is on a strong run of some really great, vivid boxarts. Lots of personality and colour.

Mike McFarland was so tremendously talented and passionate about his work. If he was directing, you knew you were getting a quality English dub. Most importantly, he was a beloved friend to so many of his peers. I appreciate how generous and giving he was to our little podcast. You will be missed.

Mike McFarland has passed away at 56 after a long battle with cancer. Among his many beloved roles, he voiced Buggy, and he also served as ADR director on a good number of English-dubbed One Piece episodes. May he rest in peace 💐🕊️✖️

Weeks removed, I think the Roadrunner's testimony in Coyote vs. ACME might be one of the best sequences in a film I've seen all year. I damn near cried.

Since I was never a fan of the wizard children's books series, I have firmly believed that Candle Jack is the one villain whose name you should never say outlou-

I’ve thinking all day how to sum up some of my feelings about the loss of Peter Cullen and how much his performances meant to me. This clip has it all.

Prime as leader doesn’t seem out of touch nor forgetful of where he came from and who he was in the trenches with. He checks all the boxes of being a noble leader, a great friend, and even a father figure.

We’ve had so many variations on the character, even more voiced by Cullen, but nothing beats the original for me. I don’t think Optimus Prime would be as beloved as he is without Peter Cullen’s contribution. Thanks for being a constant source of optimism in my life, Mr. Cullen. ’Til all are one.

Part of what I admire about his original performance of Prime is just how much he feels like one of the boys. Cullen’s Optimus has the vibe of your bud you worked long shifts alongside and grabbed a beer with afterwards. He’ll bust your chops now and then, but it’s always from a place of love.

damn RIP. obviously he was Optimus, but you also gotta give the guy credit for putting his whole ass into selling DBZ and many other anime in his Toonami promos www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4VX...

Kaiji was a manga inspired by the struggles Japan faced during its recession in the 90s. It's a story I'm sure is just as relatable now as it was then. Kaiji nearly crumbled under the pressure gambling with his life on the line. I loved imagining that same kinda of stress playing mere board games.

I put the blame of the Fortniteification of everything on people like me, who 20 years ago thought 2 pieces of media smashed together was fun and would never exceed beyond fanwork, but we'll soon be living in a world where everything is Fortniteified, then people like me will be sorry.

Maybe it's just my feed, but in an era of corporate owned cons and glorified exhibitor's halls, Otakon has this "Anime Elder" vibe to it.

Here's another sequence of mine from Rick Morty Season 9. The B Plot of "Rick Fu Hustle" was Jerry buying a faulty pool cleaning robot, and eventually having an intimate affair with it. I can be a NSFW artist too! #art #storyboards
