Of all the things that have never happened this is the most thing that has never happened

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on DC: "Nobody wanted to eat out. They were afraid. Even if you were in the restaurant, people would walk in and like the Wild West, 'Hold it up!' Everybody is standing there. Can you imagine? A fancy restaurant. They were robbing the whole restaurant. It's crazy."

It’s amazing to me that they think running this guy out there to be interviewed helps them

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

BASH: Do you see your job as helping Republicans keep this seat? AG TODD BLANCHE: *a lot of words that aren't a denial*

Has there ever been a more fragile human?

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Norway: "I didn't get the Nobel Prize so I don't want anybody from Norway. I don't want anything to do with Norway…Frankly, Norway sucks. Norway has become a shithouse country, actually."

So one single oligarch gets to make global war and peace decisions. When we get a sane government back his company needs to be seized.

This would be embarrassing for them if they were capable of that emotion

Marisa Kabas@marisakabas.bsky.social

Huge follow-up reporting to my scoop: The Guardian confirmed America Next—the conservative nonprofit founded by Bobby Jindal that was offering students $ to disrupt El-Sayed events—paid a firm registered to Tommy Teepell’s dad Timmy $250k for “canvassing and influencer marketing” against El-Sayed.

Nobody believes this shit but they’ll use it as a pretext for a bloodthirsty attack on Cuba

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Mike Waltz alleges that "the communist party in Cuba has been working with antifa and a number of other progressive leftist groups to sow chaos in our inner cities ... they're doing it with the violent environmentalist movement and pro-Palestinian movement"

We’ve reached the point where the states may have to mobilize against the feds

Michelangelo Signorile@msignorile.bsky.social

Wow. “A small group of U.S. national security officials has been discreetly advising state governments & congressional lawmakers on how to prepare for the possibility that the Trump administration will attempt to interfere in November’s midterm elections.” www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

So attacking a country for domestic political reasons. It’s fucking insane.

Shipwreck@shipwreck75.bsky.social

White House is considering targeted strikes on Kharg Island, which handles approximately 90% of Iran's oil exports. The goal is to force concessions on Tehran's nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz before the US midterm elections on Nov. 3.

this little bitch will probably be on Fox News all day tomorrow, smiling his smug white smirk after getting eviscerated by a happy warrior assassin

Abdul El-Sayed@abdulelsayed.bsky.social

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

If this grifter survives to 2028 there’s zero chance he won’t be traveling around having rallies to get adoration from his cult

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

lots of empty seats are visible as Trump wrapped up his rally today in Kentucky (Eric Lee/Getty)

Nothing says “winning” like a GOP president doing rallies in Alaska, Oklahoma, and Kentucky in the closing days of an election

OSSOFF: And yesterday in Dalton, Trump said he would rename Hormuz the Trump Strait. See, the draft dodging president tells jokes while 21 Americans are dead and hundreds wounded.

He says that he wants allegations of corruption to be based on “facts and not based on one random news media report that I read”… but when it comes to immigrants eating dogs and cats, I guess that’s just completely different?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "I've not seen a single shred of evidence that Donald Trump participates or sanctions in that corruption ... I've not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself"

Ossoff is on fire, and it’s great to see after years of obnoxious waffling and triangulating from Democrats.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Ossoff: "At last week's debate, he couldn't even bring himself to say he's stop the production of neo-Nazi propaganda from his own house. Did you see that? I told Mike we could shake on it. All he had to stop neo-Nazi propaganda from his house for 3 weeks. He refused! ... a crumbling little bigot"

Steverocks35 reposted

Ossoff: "I suspect many of you are here today b/c you're so deeply troubled by the pain that many of our fellow human beings are enduring right now. The terror of a child watching ICE take away his mother. The despair of a cancer patient losing coverage mid-treatment... we're all in this together"

He knows he’s going to get annihilated in a few weeks and he cant cope

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

🤔 What the hell is wrong with Trump? 🤔 Trump gave a bonkers speech in Georgia that included Islamophobic bigotry, oddly sexual comments about men, crazed lies about teachers secretly trans-ing kids, and a variety of other insane rants Here's the lowlight reel:

He doesn’t know what “assimilated” means

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Kid Rock on Fox & Friends: "It appears that El-Sayed is assimilated ... and I would like to make the point that there have been other people who have assimilated to this country. The Fort Hood shooter. Those extremists that became pilots and crashed into our World Trade Center."

Call me crazy but maybe you should hire a press secretary based on ability to do the job and not based on the creepy way it makes you feel about your daughter while obsessively watching cable news

Not only is she profoundly stupid but she has a voice for silent films

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

oh my god this interview was a disaster for Zacharia. I've never seen Hannity do someone who works for Trump like this

Really bringing the message of love to the people here

Hoodlum 🇺🇸@nothoodlum.bsky.social

Trump: “I travel with doctors. If people get sick in the audience, they leave them alone. You know what they call them? Collateral damage. That person right over there looks like shit. He looks ready to have a heart attack. If he did, my doctors would leave him alone.” Courtesy @acyn.bsky.social

Remember, voters vote their wallets/personal safety first, their prejudices second. If the economy is good, this stuff plays because people aren’t worried about their job, their house/making rent, etc. A good economy allows them to flex their personal bigotry. It’s different if they’re broke.

gwen howerton@kissphoria.bsky.social

Fascinating tidbit in this interview with former Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan (R-Beaumont), he says that Texas Republicans anti-transgender ads aren't "resonating." "What Republicans are talking about is just not what the swing voter is really interested in." www.texasmonthly.com/news-politic...

So he admits he does this to women often. What a pathetic person.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on Jon Husted: "I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn't know he was a great athlete ... I looked at his ass"

Steverocks35 reposted

For the love of God, stop saying this regime's ruthless authoritarianism "raises questions" and start telling us what answers you have for us. If you can't do that, get the fuck out of the way.

Amy Klobuchar@amyklobuchar.com

The timing of this raid and reports that a White House official was involved raise serious questions that should concern all Americans, regardless of political party.

And by bar he means a literal bar that he’s attracted to

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance on Amy Acton: "I did promise Amy that I would meet her at a bar later. I understand she's into that sort of thing, so I'm gonna try to get to know her."

Mr. Art of the Deal gets dog-walked again

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

This is completely outrageous and disgusting. This must immediately be blocked by Congress and Trump should be impeached for this. The US is now funding Putin’s war machine as he murders civilians including children. We are lost as a country.

It’s so as disgusting for this dipshit to stand there and denigrate someone that got shot by his storm troopers for no reason

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Markwayne Mullin: "We wasn't aware the child was in the car, but do you know was? Oscar. Oscar knew he had a child in his car. Oscar chose to accelerate at a high rate of speed ... the public outcry should be also toward this criminal, this thug, this gang-banger, this possible murderer"

Ossoff at this debate

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: Many feel you have not addressed the fact your son in law is a white supremacist influencer. What have you said to your family? COLLINS: That's my family OSSOFF: Imagine running for Senate while neo-Nazi propaganda is disseminated to an audience of millions from your home. That's Mike Collins.

Steverocks35 reposted

Ossoff came not to debate Collins, he came not to win against Collins no no no Thomas Jonathan Ossoff came to bury Mike Collins so deep he is never found again

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Ossoff says that Mike Collins has "hired half the Third Reich to staff your congressional office"
