This is why I'm excited about consumer 3d scanning technology! Imagine what our collections look like if every mini sculptor in the 80s and 90s could sell digital files of their models directly to the world We are at the threshold of a golden age for the hobby

There's some real gems in the Citadel preslotta ranges. This mounted dwarf is great. Citadel horses are normally sculpted smooth, but this mountain pony has a shaggy texture. Brilliant.

Yes! I used to pour over books about making movie sets and model kits from the library when I was but a wee lad. Now that I have a studio for my projects and art it's easy to get lost for hours making a thing

I started building models as a child. I could lose myself for hours at my desk, making something from nothing. Decades later, I’m as happy as ever to sink into a project. There’s something deeply gratifying about working with your hands, especially in this digital age. #Mars #miniatures

Come find me all weekend at CRITcon in Portland, OR where I’m vending for Brush Wielders Union and Primaeval Press. And there are still slots for my Sunday morning presentation on army painting, Quantity Is its Own Quality!

Yesterday I used up these paints to finish the underpainting on the stone for my #bloodbowl stadium, Lizmen Field. It's the first season for the #Seattle SKREEhawks, and my battered #lizardmen are 0 and 2 on the season and starving for a win at home!

You guessed it (well, most of you), the Castlevania Font & Logo Generator is live now, based on the newest version as seen in the Belmont's Curse logo

My Chaos Raptors, the last lads from my Lost and the Damned Cityfight project! They had a great time navigating the board with their jump packs and even dished out some damage, though at the end of the day they mostly were protective wounds for my MVP Chaos Lord. #warhammer #warhammer40k #nerdlings

I occasionally get asked if 2GORKA2MORKA will include rules for mounts/squighogs. Currently Squighogs are treated like bikes for almost all purposes except for damage. Thrusters are simply Stampede by jabbing the mount, steel head plate lets them ram etc. #warhammercommunity #2gorkamorka

Progress on the daemon prince! Two thin coats of grey seer on the flesh (or flesh-metal areas). Khorne red on the wings. Runelord brass on the trim. That was a fun few hours #hobbystreak day 687

I love the Rampant games! Both Xenos Rampant and Xenos Rampant 2nd Ed are excellent fun and a joy to play I would love a companion book with more scenarios, campaigns, army lists, and random tables for both or either game 🙏🙏

Do you have a favourite book in the Rampant series? Fans of the Rampant series should keep an eye out for Bugles to the West, out next year, which Daniel Mersey is co-authoring with Simon Walker. https://bit.ly/46OMirj #ospreygames #dragonrampant #secondedition #wargame #miniatures #tabletop

Another lil guy I brought back from my childhood... My Stepdad painted this for maybe my 11th birthday? It was the 1st conversion I'd seen outside of White Dwarf. These days, there isn't a model in any of my armies that isn't converted. I guess this is where my being a special snowflake started?
