That’s a good 2 in regulation.

Fowler is on 🔥

Wonder why Danault was on with Cole and Slaf.

I’m not a big jersey guy, but these Habs red jerseys are 👌🏻.

Caufield is flying tonight. That’s exactly what Habs need with 14 on the shelf.

Sweet cycle. Heads up change and a super heads up pass by Dobson. Nice way to break the ice.

We’ll blame Cole not scoring on the outdoor rink. You don’t see that very often.

Fowler once again playing like a #1. Habs PK forwards need to practice breakaways. I feel like they are 0 for on SH breakaways this season.

The rustic set up around the rink is pretty cool. Kudos to whoever designed that.

Right now Fowler’s #1 with a bullet.

Jake with his first two goal game in 4 years!

Dach needs to play against Chicago more often.

When players talk about playing the right way, that’s exactly what they are talking about.

Anderson needs to bury that.

Montreal looks understandably discombobulated so far without 14.

Seriously, stop using AI in your posts. It’s not funny. It’s not clever. Nothing looks like it is supposed to look and everyone knows it’s just useless AI slop. Don’t worry. No one will think less of you if your post only has words.

Why? Again…😔

I’m already sick of OT.

Two avoidable plays costs the Habs two goals. So far, their blown leads are all self-inflicted. Hutson just has to get the puck deep and Xhekaj just doesn’t have to engage for no reason in a 1 goal game.

Hey Refs, when you hit a guy who doesn’t have the puck, it’s called interference.

The day Anderson scores on a breakaway, I’m out the door straight away for a lotto ticket at the dep.

Yikes, Hutson.

Caufield snipe in his sleep.

Yikes, Slaf!

Yikes, Evans.

Good start for Montreal.

Is it me or did Cole’s goal look like he was taking a shot in warm up on a goalie that wasn’t really trying to stop the puck, or is he just a stone cold sniper? I believe two things can be true.

Still very early days for these 2026-27 Habs, so anything can and probably will happen. Stay tuned!

Another tip in from the point FFS.

Engstrom hasn’t found his stride yet in the NHL. He’s not playing with the same confidence as he did in the AHL. Hopefully, with more reps (if he can get them), he’ll get there.

Beck has a very good shot. If he’s going to carve out a spot on this roster, he’ll need to figure out how to take more shots consistently.

Habs playing a bit too loose right now. Tuch with another 2 on 1 chance. Caps aren’t much better though.

First and last political post here, but if you are concerned in any way about the risks and uncertainty around AI, don’t use it or promote it. Use your brain. Sharpen your mind. We do not need AI. That’s all.

Stone Handerson with a 🚀

Question: Do you think the fans last night could possibly have influenced Larkin? I don’t, but only time will tell. 🤔

Definitely not an instant classic tonight. Three goals disallowed, only one in the shootout. Detroit clearly played for a point in the third. No intensity at all; a snooze fest from start to finish. Two points, sure, but the Habs still haven’t found their mojo yet.

Struble trade isn't surprising with Engstrom coming on, and there's no denying Engstrom is an upgrade in many ways. Now maybe Xhekaj (the older) can settle in and build some momentum.

Montreal is beating themselves tonight.

Cuteness is alway going to cost you. Anderson had the clear but wanted to go for offence and now it’s tied against a Nashville team that was getting dominated.

I think it needs to be said for all you youngsters out there, even though I’m sure they are none out there on here right now. You don’t “Olé” until the game is out of reach!

There’s a reason they tell you to keep moving your feet.

The Suzuki early season heater rides on.
