I'm still thinking about yucky bad food time grocky. ugh my heart. but the funny side effect is grace developing an acute sense for good vs spoiled Eridian foodstuffs. even tho he can't Eat it. I had a coworker one time who was allergic to salmon but could smoke a filet PERFECTLY, it's like that.

bonus, I think he would swear off of meat that still looks like meat forever after that. he can eat a burger/chicken nuggets/ground meat in sauces/etc if he doesn't think about it too hard, but he can Not handle raw meat cuts. shellfish is on thin ice. the deli at the grocery store is a no-go zone.

rocky's an 'expert in his field' engineer, simon is a 'brake cleaner is caustic as fuck but gets grease off your hands real good' makeshift mechanic, and together they can do the equivalent of putting grace on a hydraulic lift and poking around to see what wiggles.

I love a big chunky collar but I also really love the idea of rocky putting grace on a delicate little xenonite chain like a show dog. not only bc it's easier to snap and a little safer if he panics, but bc grace is so good for him he doesn't *need* to be restrained 💞
