Gods it’s wonderful to have the heat and humidity back again. I can finally breathe. My skin is tingling. I love this weather!

Looks like I’ve thrown out my charger dock for a power tool I use and the only way to get a new one is to buy a whole new set. This is why everything should be USB-C. This sucks ducks and blows goats.

“The Culture is ran by AI. That’s why it’s rational and, well, humane. If there’s one thing humanity isn’t, it’s humane.” - Ian M. Banks

Yes well. Great speech by Obama. Looking at the YouTube views, after 14hrs very few have over 200k views. Most are way below that. Not a good sign.

OBAMA: He's got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory. It's gold everywhere.

🔥 OBAMA: “The thing is, Iran didn’t have nuclear weapons — because I put a deal in place he pulled out of… and the war he started is why the price of everything is UP… how much time do you think Hegseth spends looking at himself in the mirror? These are not serious people.”

This vibes in this game are something else. Sound effects to 50% music to 100%. Rain, lightning, sun sets with EDM beats. Like a digital drug. #Motorfest

Future retirement homes for us will feature a bookshelf stacked with e-readers and a record player spinning on a table, driving home the delta between analog and digital that defines Xennials

Hmm now that I think about it, I read ancient history to learn where we’re from and sci-fi to imagine where we’re going. That Xennial delta again. Seems to be part of our makeup.

That was an epic battle in The Forever Dead! And ohhh shhhit that ending! A new series?! Something dark lurks in the night! #BookSky

I’m about 1/2 way in The Forever Dead by John Birmingham and the building up to what I’m guessing is the final battle is damn cool! Can’t wait to see what an Armada-level intellect will do with a fleet of ships. Space Nazis are going to eat some sh-t. How cool are RAN stealth corvettes?

Monster Hunter Wilds looks better in docked mode on the switch due to the higher resolution. Still looks like general arse, it is still Wilds. But still going to play it to death. It runs fine.

Yay! EV charger now installed. Ready for trips to Brisbane and beyond. I wonder if anyone has considered the economic effect of people exploring and spending fuel money at small businesses around the state instead of giving it to BP on a weekly basis? 🤔

Well, Monster Hunter Wilds looks like arse on the Switch 2, but at least it’s playable. Hopefully Capcom take a step back on the graphics style on the next monster hunter. Still think Rise & Sunbreaker was best.

Definitely going to watch that again when it hits digital. Caught the last weekend viewing. So much going on, and such a visually rich movie. Had that quirky Wes Anderson vibe and at moments the colour palette. Calls out hypocrisy but also deliberately very American so you can see the faults.

Tom Cruise would have to be a massive sci-fi fan right? Bet he’s read them all. Would love to nerd it out with him over The Culture or Foundation series.

Funny how all these people that constantly carry on about China & censorship online are suddenly quiet when USA companies censor that new Musk documentary. Anyway, closed my Instagram and Threads accounts. Don’t have Facebook & as soon as I can get a better VR headset for exercising I’ll dump Quest
