Ethan Nwaneri's goal ended a passing sequence of 36 uninterrupted passes in a move that lasted one minute & 54 seconds and involved every Arsenal outfield player. It was the longest passing move leading to a Premier League goal since September 2023.

It is incumbent on us as Arsenal supporters to call this out. Loudly. They’re trying to paint us and the club as a bunch of abusive, whiney crackpots, lumping us in with and defining us by the worst people who call themselves Arsenal fans, people we categorically do not claim as our own.

They are linked in that they relate to the same incident, the Myles Lewis-Skelly red card. That’s it. The abuse, which by the way is being unfairly imputed to Arsenal and supporters writ-large, has NOTHING to do with the refereeing aspects of the card / interpretation of the Laws nor the appeal.

When the concept of VAR was first mooted I liked the idea of experts with technology to advise on terrible decisions. It seemed unfair to refs that they had a split second and maybe a bad angle, while millions at home saw instant replays. But how can VAR, and assistant VARS, be this bad/mad? 🧵

Have that Michael Oliver you absolute melt. I hope your dinner gets burnt, your boiler breaks down, your garden fence gets blown down in the wind and your dog has a shit on the carpet and the robot hoover accidentally turns on and spreads it round the house. #arsenal

Arsenal are making the league fear corners as if we are taking pens. Still remember the Spurs fan looking away before a corner knowing exactly what was gonna happen. Dark Arts FC FTW.

After a careful VAR review, the PGMOL has concluded that David Coote wasn't on the clock while talking to a friend about match-fixing. According to the letter of the law, no foul has been committed by the letter of the law. Decision: Coote will referee the game between Liverpool and Man City.

Wonder how the super computer takes into consideration the quality of opponents Liverpool is about to play and that Slot hasn't ever faced them before. Wonder how drastically the numbers will change if Liverpool lose a couple between now and new year and Arsenal keep winning their fixtures 🍿

For what it's worth, Odegaard couldn't have come back at a better time.

Martin Ødegaard completed 60 of his 67 passes against Nottingham Forest today, with six of those creating chances for teammates' shots.

Had to miss the second half of The Arsenal to take this wonderful footballer (in the making) for her first ever football practice. So, glad we won and Nwaneri scored. Can't wait to catch the highlights. Oh, and that's her first ever Arsenal kit as well.

Room for Growth While his attacking contributions are outstanding, Guller needs to work on consistency and his defensive game. He sometimes struggles against physically stronger opponents.

Breaking Low Blocks Guller is effective in breaking down low blocks, using his quick decision-making and dribbling skills to create space and opportunities even against tight defenses. This is something that only Odegaard, Saka, and Trossard are able to do at the moment.

Positions and Versatility Guller has shown his adaptability, excelling as both a right winger and an attacking midfielder. His ability to switch positions means he is custom made for Arteta or the current Arsenal setup.

Strengths in Attack His dribbling and pace make him a constant threat on the wings. Guller’s vision and precise passing enable him to create numerous scoring opportunities for his teammates. These are also the areas that Odegaard and Saka operate in, so Guller should be able another dimension.
