There could be any number of polling errors, so we should treat any apparent advantage as only a slight advantage. Republicans are likely to try cheating. So, we need every vote to make that harder. Even if everything goes well, more votes strengthen the public mandate against Trump.

Such a simple explanation of religious idiocy. Declare something is true, then backfill evidence. If you want to be accurate, you do the exact opposite. You find as much evidence as you can, then try to come up with the best explanation you can for it, even if it's not what you thought originally.
