Creative friends and other folks who may have experience- What direct to garment/ print on demand manufacturing do you recommend? I've got a couple on my radar, but would love to hear from anyone who has tried what's available. :)

Peaprint has a LOT of options. I'm curious if their print and material quality is good. I may end up ordering a couple things. XD

Random update- the wrist/thumb brace seems to have made a BIG difference in joint pain. I've been gently tooling on a couple digital pieces to sate my need to create & am SUPER close to finishing up a repeating pattern design. I hope y'all like kitties in space. XD

I'm going to be taking a break from creating- not that this feed will show much change due to this. Just... saying. It's been months of worsening pain and it's time to really give things a rest. :< I hate not being able to do what I want when away from the day job. 😕

Every morning I sit on the couch corner to put on shoes for work- Dandelion will place half his body on my thigh and just prrRUMBLE away and I love it. He's such a dude and I wish I could stay, but bills have to paiiid.

Still fussing with waves- but I gotta delivery by Sunday when we have an end o summer bbq at the friend's place. Her girls go back to school Monday, so gathering will be harder in the school year. :') My foam is looking quite cotton-y and I don't have the spoons to figure out changing that.

We're a month out from having digital tags installed at our store... which means my schedule is likely to get fucked since it'll change what labor is needed on Mondays. Really hoping the boss can find similar hours in a different role *sigh*

I think I'm going to put away the canvases when I get home today. They're distracting me from other goals :'< Might pull them back out in a week or 2 to finish up. Maybe.

I'm going to be slowly regulating back to "normal" over the next few weeks- having spent the last 4 months being a FT cashier has completely decimated my social energy. I'm on day 2 of a new role/schedule & my mind is still reeling/feels anxious that I'll have to do 8hr cust.service shifts again.

Yesterday I poured silicone for a couple RANDOM projects and the final layer for some feather charms that have been a long time in the making. We'll see how things came out with some casts today. These tests are to be sure my silicone still works/cures before I use it on THE BIG project.

Word to the wise- one can pour a 2 part silicone mold with mold release- however, waiting MONTHS between may cause issues. (I RUINED the feather mold in the process of removing the original sculpt-oops)

Can't tell if getting ill or afflicted by allergies. Cranial congestion is inspiring me to hang eucalyptus sprigs in an extra hot shower after work to (*hopefully) clear things a bit. Meanwhile, my throat is tender to the touch and swallowing is stupidly painful. I'm sipping cider on lunch for now

It's been AGES since I've created any art, start to finish, in a day. Although this is intimidating, my oldest friend will be coming to visit this weekend, and I'm going to give my best effort to change this. Hopefully I'll have some TLK themed shinies to share in the near future.

Well- neither of us finished our paintings, but we got a good start! I should have picked a portrait so that I didn't have as many elements to sketch out. 😅 I also thought I had more full body acrylic paint, but alas... most are fluid for airbrush purposes. Still working on base colors

Wish me luck, y'all. I have an interview for a job change with my current employer. It's a retirement role. Consistent hours. Start is EARLY-leaving room for midmorning and afternoon appointments after. I also won't have to put on my "face" for 8hrs a day- this MIGHT equal more social energy 🤞

I know better than to detail things right now, but I couldn't resist since I think I'm happy with the wings. I've started picking at the details of varying layers of tail feathers. Once the tail is done, I'm going to find a way to protect it while I suss out the details of the sculpts fore-half.

Carpal tunnel is a real vexation upon my life, I tell ya. I took an intentional day off to rest the wrists yesterday & it was very hard to resist the creative urge. Today started ok at work, but I'm 2hrs in and my shits yelling at me already.
