A combo of Groundhog Day and teen slasher, Happy Death Day is popcorn cinema. The poster is the best thing about Soul Survivors, Dushku crush isn't enough. Jason is unmasked and the dude looks ROUGH. ANoES series hits a wall, Freddy is a lame one-liner caricature. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

¡Ay wey! Mira este vato.

Michael Myers holding the knife at that angle is psychopathic behavior. The clap scene in the Conjuring with Taylor still gives me goosebumps. Pet Sematary has an unexplored subplot with killer truckers that needs explaining. Deborah Logan going snake mode 🫣. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

John Smoltz sounds like he's at a wake lol. Dude is so checked out.

The Birds felt goofy and prodded along to the titular threat. The so-called MTV'd Freddy is not the best of the franchise but it's so fun with the standout Roach Motel kill. Stigmata is lacking in scaries and a good story. EDB is gory af an w/ ankle deep story. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

It is fucking ELECTRIC in here. Oh my god. 🥺

Ten years ago, I left the only city I'd ever called home. I've been back a couple times but today feels different. I'm on a journey today. About to board a flight with a final destination ending on the Southside of Chicago, where I'll meet 40,000 of my closest friends. Let's ride. #whitesox

Talk dirty to me.

DON'T STOP NOW BOYS!

Bride of Frankenstein continues the sad tale of the Monster, this time with more rejection. I guess Michael Myers didn't wanna just use a sack over his head cuz it had already been done. The Furious is feet, fists and fury. That VR sequence in Disclosure is jokes. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Jesus Christ, why am I a fan of this team lmao

Holy fuck, MEIDROTH

I guess Pattinson was always that good but y'all seriously went with that ending? 🤣 Shannon perfectly captures crippling fear and paranoia. Clockwork Orange's ending is a sickening quid pro quo. Unforgiven was a roaring comeback for Eastwood, Hackman was amazing. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

You found a real homie when he won't let you die of shame after your rag went flying. Goodfellas is a perfect movie to have in the background at your inlaws. Bogart's was masterful in Maltese Falcon. Better than WTC, United 93 is a tense retelling of that day. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Stallone has many iconic moments in his career, cutting pizza with scissors is up there. Perlman is perfection as Hellboy. Terminator 3 is terribly hokey & repetitive. Portrait of a Lady on Fire is absolutely stunning with a beautiful but devastating romance. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Been a while since a character cracked me up as much as Kline's Otto. Ninja is "so bad it's good". Domingo shines in Sing Sing and Maclin is right there with him. The best villains are those that could be real people such as Mitchum's evil Preacher Harry Powell. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

A lesser film than the Hustler but the showdown was good. Eden Lake is a grim and brutal film set in rural England. An epic love story with sensational turns by Keaton, Beatty and Nicholson. Bourne is an excellent combatant, getaway driver, terrible hair stylist. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

A fitting tribute, following a defining summer that would mold Bourdain's career. Bought a big bucket of KFC and got extra dipping sauces after watching Camp Miasma. I cackled when "Higher" started blasting in Skulls. The worst robbers ever, scary turkey baster. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Chastain with one of her best performances, quintessential Sorkin writing. The trickle down economy in a post apocalyptic locomotive. The Yards is Coppola inspired, right down to the cousin fucking. Escape Room is PG-13 Saw but the ending didn't stick the landing. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Boiling Point is a single take film following a restaurant kitchen, literal hell. Adams and Blunt as a dysfunctional sister duo cleaning up crime scenes. The crew of MI is back but now add Ferguson to the mix. Love Jones is hot, full of chemistry, poetry and jazz. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Trade deadline day is really heating up now. Adell to Cleveland. Rutchman to the Sawks??

If you like Wick style action, give The Man From Nowhere a shot as the influence is clear. The Island falls short of what could've been a solid sci-fi flick. Speaking of Wick, don't mess with peoples pets. Recast Reynolds and the Amityville remake might be decent. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Back when you can take random pills from strangers and not be worried about fentanyl. Cruise suffering a PTSD episode at a high rate of speed, again. Washington as a self destructive drunk but boy can he fly a plane. Odyssey lived up to the hype, go watch it. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

I'm just here to see Trump get booed by tens of thousands of people.

Holy shit, about time

Jesus, Enzo fucking flipped him.

Cooke & Taylor-Joy were damn good as two friends just hanging, conspiring murder. Lighthouse was funnier than I expected, the FARTS! I think this was my favorite of the MI's so far, little too long though. With the Game I'm now just missing Fincher's 2020s films. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

That's my third baseman!

JORDAN WALKER, UNREAL BRO

Lol philly fans, y'all are something else!

Back back back bac bac bac bac GONE

Let's gooooo!!! Could be a huge day for the Sox with their other picks.

Jigsaw taking on the healthcare industry, dude's a champion of the people. When Neeson said the thing, I became that DiCaprio gif. Cyborg features one intense, stylish villain but the dialogue is so bad and mid. Did the shark forget there was a whole damn whale? #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Y'all remember rhythm gaming, yes? Well it was my gaming life for several years about 15 years ago. Stepped away because life happens. Now I've got a patchwork drum kit and have been having a blast getting back into a groove. Until you miss a single note on a song 😭 🥁 🎮 🎵

The traps were better in this installment of Saw but they need to wrap it up pronto. Lady Snowblood has a ferocity in her eyes, watch the fuck out. Lundgren went way more nutso than I remember and it worked. Phone Booth is a living, breathing testament to 2002. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Costco has a $100 B&N gift card where they throw in $20 on top of it. That's a pretty nice deal. #physicalmedia #filmsky

There were so many bad space horror movies around that time weren't there? 1000 Corpses has certain scenes where it's an acid trip on screen. Pedro Navaja is 1980s Mexican cinema, for better or worst. A rewatch decades in the making, Toy Story is still incredible. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

The greatest tragedy is that I'm not facing Gausman in any matchup.

I dunno if she murdered her husband but I know that Fiddy instrumental slaps. Classic American love story if there ever was one. I fall for Seabiscuit every time, I can't help it. Things happening to unlikeable people is why I laughed so much during Poop Cruise. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

May I present the humble but always delicious red chilaquiles. That's what's cooking this Saturday for lunch. #foodsky 🍽️ 🍜

The kinda movie where I wonder how much the filmmaker *really* knows 🧐. Amy Adams put me in horny jail. I'm Thinking of Ending Things is loneliness in motion. The Vietnam War is a masterpiece documentary, the point where the US public lost faith in their leaders. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Viggo stars as a man that thought he'd escaped his past, only to be thrust back into his old ways. Torres was terrific in an intimate piece of her family's struggle against a dictatorship. A very familiar walk down mid 90s memory lane. Jeter, jail and pets again. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

The American obsession with celebrity status is highlighted here, solid work from Kidman and Phoenix. Tense and atmospheric, Oddity is McCarthy's best. De Niro playing an Italian gangster never gets old. Wanna see Jack Bauer in a bad horror movie? No? Me neither. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

50+ years ago the Post took down a criminal presidency, could use some of the journalism now. Handmaiden has some juicy twists and a satisfying ending. When horror franchises go to space, you know it's over. Washington is sensational, should've been an Oscar win. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday

Long weekend and a recent 4K UHD delivery means I'm not going to watch any of them and will instead stream rubbish. Just kidding, I'll attempt at least two of them. I swear. #PhysicalMedia #4kUHD

I just aged 10 years in the final three innings of this Sox game 👴🏽

This Sox home run barrage must never end. Don't stop now, boys!

You're just begging for that one to be knocked 400+ feet.

Navarrette was absolutely magnificent, an unnerving experience, terrific horror. That embrace by DeSoto and Morales always sends me reeling 😣😫😭, great soundtrack. Flatliners has a great cast but there's no high stakes. Enjoyable scifi with a hilarious Tucker. #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday
