Journey Church is definitely a white-centric MAGA church. Here the pastor claims to speak for Arab people who live in Israel. He also seems to think the history of people in the Americans started when the white people founded the USA. He's a white-centric revisionist.

Seeing a lot of this now: "If you don't obey me and vote MAGA, then you're sinning and going to hell..." (paraphrasing) Here's the fundamentalist anti-LGBTQ+, anti-abortionist Christian Nationalist Dr. Alveda King. They're trying to undermine democracy by making their religion the LAW.

The "platform" isn't forcing you to have abortions or have transgender surgery. If your religion tells you not to do those things, then those rules apply to you and you're free to follow them (or not). My religion tells me I can do those things and I don't have to obey your fundamentalist decrees.

Daniel A Grant, running for St. Helens city council, is pastor at Resonate Jesus Church that says it's nondenominational but he was a Calvary Chapel pastor for many years. Calvary Chapels like to be sneaky about their affiliations, probably because they have lots of sex abuse scandals.

Katy tried to "communicate her heart" to the Seattle Times reporter and was upset that the sweet-talking wasn't enough to overcome the video evidence and Seattle Times printed the story anyways.

I had a dream last night that I was visiting my parents and their friend was there. Their friend tried to go into a proselytizing spiel with me as the target. I said, “I do not consent to you preaching to me. Do you believe in consent?” I could see his internal battle and him planning a work-around.

I woke up after his weak and obvious attempt to get around my refusal. I woke thankful that it wasn’t a real situation because if it was, I know the rest of the visit would’ve been that guy trying to find another avenue to bring up the topic of God and faith. That’s how it works.
