at first it was really exciting cause i happened upon a new victim while doing other quests and was like "holy shit there's more!!! no way!!!" but then it turns out that the false ending is still the end of the questline, it's just really narratively unsatisfying and kinda shitty. oops.

kinda frustrating tbh. what do you mean geralt is just like "guess i got the wrong guy. ah well!" after all of that. not even an option to bring it up to dandelion. i think the misdirection is super cool but there absolutely should be a path to unlock the rest of the questline if you work for it

fresh reinstalled windows onto one of my handhelds and then discovered way way way too late into the process of setting up software that I had left a microSD card plugged in which accidentally became the default OS location OOPS

okay this maybe admittedly gets a little more complicated in my specific case cause i wasn't actually allowed to go to the movie theater for a large portion of my childhood because of my church LOL but then also in that case, i feel like it should be easier to remember if it happened later. has anyone else just never known peace with windows folder permission settings for years now. I feel like it's just a coin flip whether or not a program is allowed to write data into a folder and you better believe windows loves reverting my settings back to read only at a complete whim
