I think a missed opportunity was to have a show with Ted Cassidy and Richard Kiel doing things. But buddy show things, not as freaks of nature trying to deal with a micronian world things.

If there are people that need to give up their weekends, I'm pretty sure it's these slackers.

I looked at the calendar for the House for the rest of the year. In session for 3 days after the election. That's it. So far the House of Representatives has worked 72 week days. 72 days out of 365 days the public works.

So glad a federally-subsidized auto maker teamed up with a federally-subsidized space company so my tax dollars are being used for an impractical demoscene trick car that exactly zero people have asked for instead of something frivolous like school lunches.

"Which version of Star Trek TOS should I watch?" I offer my two cents and the other ST guy does the same. Both of us suggest that they both have merits. "I'm a physical model purist and the CG doesn't match the music" Just say you're a model purist from the get go and don't waste our time.

Why bother with having your stuff beta tested when you didn't implement the fixes from the testers. Then while you're fixing bugs that the users are finding and reporting, you implement a change to something that wasn't broken, but now it is and you have to fix all the issues with that change.

It's frustrating when you're a beta tester for something and it comes out with more issues than when you were testing it. And good features that were implemented are gone. I feel like there's no point in trying to make things better when the developers will just put out shit at the last minute.

Tilly Norwood, a controversial AI “actor,” abruptly switched languages during an interview with Piers Morgan, though the company behind the AI creation denied she malfunctioned.

I'm looking for short extension cords to move wall warts from a powerstrip. Google's brilliant "People also ask" first topic was "What's the shortest extension cord I can get?" The reply was that 1 ft is the shortest you can get. But there are also 1/2 ft ones available. Le sigh...
