SliDesk already binds the arrows, Page Up / Page Down, Space, Home / End, `b` / `.` (black screen) and `f` (fullscreen). A key in your `keyboard.json` takes over the SliDesk binding of that key. You can override it with a `keyboard.json` file in the root directory of the presentation. Example: ```json { "a": "next", "b": "previous", "c": "previous" } ``` Keys correspond to the keyboard's key and values correspond to action ("next", "previous", "fullscreen", ...). Example: This my configuration to use with a 8BitDo Micro: ```json { "k": "next", ",": "previous", "c": "next", "d": "previous", "j": "webcam" } ```

slidesk.linkNew plugin: maths# SliDesk Plugin: maths This plugin renders LaTeX formulas in your slides with [KaTeX](https://katex.org), bundled with the plugin: it works offline. A formula in a block: ```` ```math \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} \, x_{1} ``` ```` or between `$$`, for a formula without `\\`, `\,`, `\{`… (Markdown would eat these backslashes): ``` $$\sum_{i=1}^{n} i = \frac{n(n+1)}{2}$$ ``` A formula in the text, as inline code between `$`: ``` The famous `$E = mc^2$`. ``` A single `$` in the text is left alone, so prices like $5 stay as they are. The speaker view shows the formulas too, and so do the PDF and PPTX exports. KaTeX is under the MIT license, see `KATEX_LICENSE`.

You have to add a class `steps` on the slides which contain a list. Appearence speed can be control with an override in `custom.css` by redefining this css variable: ```css :root { --animationSteps: 100ms; } ``` Each item in the list will appear step by step, with the defined animation speed. ```md - first - second - third ``` If you want to animate your slide content step by step, something else than a list, use the https://slidesk.link/plugins#gouz__sbs plugin.

slidesk import turns an existing deck into a standard talk — one slides/NN-title.md per slide, wired through !include(slides). It handles PPTX, Google Slides, Slidev and reveal.js (content only; layout, shapes, charts and animations are dropped).

slidesk.linkNew plugin: stepsspeaker# Steps Speaker A Slidesk plugin that adds step-by-step navigation through speaker notes sections. When speaker notes contain `<hr>` separators, each section becomes a navigable step. Arrow keys cycle through steps within the current slide: - **ArrowRight** — advances to the next step. On the last step, sends `next` to navigate to the following slide. - **ArrowLeft** — goes back to the previous step. On the first step, sends `previous` to navigate to the preceding slide. The plugin registers its keydown listener in the **capture phase** and calls `stopPropagation()` to prevent the default Slidesk handler from also firing, avoiding duplicate navigation commands.

New release : 2.15.0 Breaking change with comments. Now you have to use `////´ instead of `//` if you want to comment your slides. Some fixes thanks to @permacodeur.fr Documentation will be reworked to be clearer.

New release today 2.14.9. Just a small addition to « link login » command. If you’re use SliDesk with docker image you can’t use a browser to log. So « —with-token » will create your ~/.slidesk file with the token précises. You can find it on your profile in slidesk.link
