does anybody remember those stylized default backgrounds on DVD players on startup/whenever the disc was stopped? (assuming the DVD didn't have a "jacket image" that appeared when stopped)

Xbox introduces a new internal initiative Xbox Wire announced a new internal initiative called XP, framed as key to growing game franchises, but offered no further details. Using such a generic name for a new corporate project is certainly a choice. Image: Xbox Wire

i wish youtube's recommended could tell the difference between "well-researched, high effort documentary" and "sensationalist clickbait video essay/commentary about something Problematic"

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

I keep seeing people thinking this is a bluesky problem. If you're seeing this it thinks you're in a state or country with age verification laws. This is what every social media site will do if KOSA and the KIDS Act succeeds. Running to another socmed won't fix it, we have to fight the source.

Well i dont know how long this login session is gonna last but @bsky.app just asked me to do an age verification with personal information. If this happens again i will not attempt to log back in. If i dont post here again let bsky know that i prefer my privacy over this platform.

Bringing attention to this phenomenon. Do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT use incel terminology, not even ironically. An incredibly dangerous group should not have this much cultural influence!

draglikepull@draglikepull.bsky.social

I really, really hate the way incel slang is being so widely adopted in regular culture. Stop giving these losers so much power over how you speak!
