You simply fill out a form that is entirely separate from your will – which makes this approach an easy way to give. Not only is it an easy way to give, but it’s also flexible – you aren’t locked into the choices you make today. You can review and adjust beneficiary designations anytime you want.

Steady gifts. Big impact. The Starr King Sustainers are monthly donors who provide reliable support for the school’s mission. Just $10/month = $120/year supporting education for leaders working toward justice, liberation, and beloved community. Recurring gifts are: • Easy to set up

You can have a generational impact on Unitarian Universalist and progressive ministry. An endowment at Starr King creates a permanent fund that supports students, faculty, and programs year after year. The principal is invested, and a portion of the earnings supports the mission each year.

Have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)? Supporting Starr King can be as simple as recommending a grant. DAFs allow you to: • Make charitable contributions and receive an immediate tax deduction • Recommend grants to nonprofits you care about (like Starr King)

One of the best ways to support progressive ministry is through a gift of appreciated stock to Starr King School for the Ministry. When you donate stock instead of selling it: • You may avoid capital gains tax • Starr King receives the full value of the shares

Did you know you can support Starr King directly from your IRA – tax free? Starr King School for the Ministry’s mission is more critical than ever. Anti-racism education, democratic values, and so many things we hold dear need a strong counter-oppressive defense. (see next thread)
