Your identity is not an obstacle. It's a source of joy, wisdom, and connection. You are not here despite who you are. You are brilliant because of who you are. 🌈 What's one small moment where your identity has been a source of joy? We'd love to hold space for you in the comments. skippingstone.ca

Today, we honour the children who never came home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry this grief. We hold space for the ongoing realities of colonial violence, cultural genocide, and systemic injustice that Indigenous peoples face today.🧡

To everyone who chose to direct your energy rebate to Skipping Stone: thank you. Your generosity helps create a softer landing for Two-Spirit, gender diverse and trans folks, keeps programs running, connects people to support, and reminds our community that they’re not alone. 🌈

Caregivers — want to connect? Join us next Monday at Prairie Dog Beer & BBQ for a relaxed, welcoming evening with other parents and caregivers of Two‑Spirit, trans, and gender‑diverse folks. Come as you are, bring your questions or stories, and enjoy good conversation and company.

Since 2019, RBC Foundation's support has helped us provide spaces where people can show up as they are, feel seen, and know they belong. Thank you for helping us build a space where belonging isn’t just talked about, it’s lived. 💙

Here’s your reminder today: you are allowed to customize your gender, your expression, and your path. You don’t have to earn your place in this community by fitting a script. You already belong.

Have you seen Thrown Good’s pottery? We’re totally swooning... and even more excited that this Vancouver ceramicist donates 100% of sales to social causes. We’re so honored they picked our community as their latest charity partner. Join us in celebrating art that gives back! ❤️

A quick update: we’re so sorry to say our Board Game Night on Monday is cancelled. D6Tabletop Café had some flooding and the team is getting things fixed. The good news: they expect to reopen later this month, so our gaming night on July 27 is still on. We can’t wait to be together again soon!

Caregivers need community too. 💛 Our monthly meet-up for parents, caregivers, and family members of trans and gender diverse folks is taking place on Monday, and we'd love to see you there! 📍 Last Best Brewing & Distilling | 607 11 Ave SW, Calgary 📅 Monday, July 13th 🕰 6:30PM - 9:30PM
