Interesting; so I kinda started liking speaking russian again... because I disliked it for a very specific reason, which is that it's extremely gendered and I had to either misgender myself constantly or do a lot of careful wording to avoid gendering myself, which I got pretty good at after a while.

Now that I'm out to most russian speaking people in my life and I can just gender myself female or use neutral neo-suffixes it actually fully flipped to being extremely validating because once every few words I can remind myself and others of who I really am. It actually feels so freeing.

I mean there's still an issue of people constantly misgendering me but that happens in English a lot anyway. And with russian there can be at least one person who's gendering me correctly: Me.
