I'm beyond excited and thrilled to share that my first (co)-first-author research paper has been published in Nature ๐ŸŽ‰ If I say Transcription-Replication Conflict, do cilia proteins pop in your head? No? Well, understandable, but you'd be wrong! Intrigued? Then read this paper!

Excited to share our new Nature study! ๐Ÿงฌ We (sidrituruci.bsky.social et al) discovered that CFAP20 helps clear stalled RNAPII, preventing harmful clashes with DNA replication machinery. This protects cells from R-loops and genome instability. Full paper: www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Our latest work describing DDIAS as a new component of the TOPBP1-CIP2A pathway in mitosis and its requirement for brain development is now published. Fantastic collaboration with @fenaochs.bsky.social, @profstewartlab.bsky.social, Lars Allan Larsen, @tcr-miller.bsky.social, Zafar Iqbal & others

Dear Colleagues, Delighted to share that our first lab paper is now published in Nature.!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š We identify a previously concealed โ€œsafety limitโ€ in DNA replication program: cells intrinsically rate-limit PCNA via PAF15, shaping strand-specific and global replication dynamics. ๐Ÿ‘‰ rdcu.be/e1bBt

rdcu.bePAF15โ€“PCNA exhaustion governs the strand-specific control of DNA replicationNature - PCNAโ€“PAF15 has a key role in determining replisome dynamics during genome replication and protecting against genome instability.

Very happy to share that our work on identifying and characterizing factors affecting DNA replication is published by Nature Communications!

We present Repli-ID, an approach to identify proteins affecting DNA replication. Lge1 and Rox1 are new regulators of this process. Great work by @sophievdhorst.bsky.social, @lleonie.bsky.social and co-authors in collaboration with @andreichabes.bsky.social. tinyurl.com/mvvcp3xe
