I just spoke to a trans woman encouraging other trans people not to vote. She then told me she's fleeing the country so it can burn. When I pointed out that many trans people can't get passports and will be left here to suffer the consequences, she blocked me.

You can block me for pointing this out, but if you're encouraging trans people not to vote while planning to flee the country yourself, you're potentially making life worse for those who can't escape. Sacrificing other people's safety for your own satisfaction isn't liberation. It's doing real harm.

I'm not okay with this mentality of encouraging people not to vote, then fleeing the country when things get worse. Not everyone has the money, resources, or ability to leave. Some of us will be trapped here, living with the consequences of choices we were encouraged to make.

And that's the problem. If my choices are between red politicians who are openly transphobic and blue politicians who are also pushing anti-trans policies, I'm stuck choosing blue because third parties never seem to work out. How is this a functioning political system? It's so fundamentally broken.

I warned her the first time it happened a 5 months ago. And then happened again within 2 weeks. Then again after a month and it keeps on repeating. This is a scam do not donate to this person and do not fall for it
