I changed my profile to something like "Probable egg, but not ready to do anything about that yet." I was scared, nervous about the upcoming election and not sure if this was when I wanted to come out. Hence, Togepi era. My egg was cracked, but I was still just kinda sitting in it. Existing.

First up, this used to be my pinned post on the old website, and was my pinned post here for a long while. Most of it turned out not to be true, upon further self-reflection, but it was a step in my journey, so I want to preserve it.

So it's been almost 48 hours since I shaved. I'm at the point in my laser growth cycle where it's a bit hard to tell, but *I* can tell. But I needed to run to the grocery store, and didn't really have time to prep. So I went out without shaving or makeup, which is something I basically don't do.

I obviously can't know for sure, but it *felt* like I legitimately passed. Something in his tone and manner just didn't feel... artificially corrected, you know? And that just feels amazing.

I'm really excited about this one. My idea submission was to take something that really happened to me, and use it as loose inspiration for a bit of fiction. The fiction isn't about me or telling the story of what actually happened to me, but just taking the same vague concept and running with it.

I'm no stranger to bra bags; my wife has hEDS and all the bending and lifting involved in laundry means that's a me chore. But today is the first time I've ever used a bra bag for *my own* bras. Bras I wear. They aren't her bra bags anymore, they're our bra bags now.
