The fact that Amy Acton was removed from her mother’s care and went on to obtain an MD and flourish in public health makes her even more of a hero in my eyes. This type of trauma never really goes away. Yet when there was a fork in the road, she chose the one where she helps others. Hero.

Watched the Lanterns finale and I will say they stuck the landing. Through the first 7 episodes, never wanted to quit it, but also wasn't in love with it. After the final, I'd watch a season 2.

her homemade gifts, admiration, & love. She was gracious & witty throughout. Eventually, we had to get back up on sore feet & continue the campaign work - like pulling ourselves away from a warm campfire. Never saw her again, but appreciated her being on the streets with us. A beautiful soul. RIP
