Never mind the ethereal rights and abstract concepts. What about: Decent fruit and veg that doesn't have to survive 8 days in the back of a lorry? No waiting 3hrs at passport control when you get a chance to visit somewhere nice? More choice in supermarkets again? Lower prices with no tariffs?

FoM denied means normal family life is denied

Bremain in Spain@bremaininspain.com

Yes, most of the public have no idea how far-reaching the loss of FoM is for British nationals. It's more than not being able to work, marry, live, retire, or study in another EU nation. It deeply affects UK workers, artists, musicians, business people, and, of course, the free movement of goods

Freedom of Movement didn't just allow Europeans to come to Britain. It allowed British entrepreneurs to start businesses across Europe too. British workers could follow opportunities. British firms could recruit expertise. Why discuss only arrivals when it worked both ways?

Doesn’t matter how you voted if you were front and centre in a Brexit government, actively overseeing the shrinking of our economy, our influence and our opportunities, while you rolled around in the trough. We’ll be disregarding everything you now say, thanks.

You can't forget that pic however much you try, can you? The screaming incompetence of the Tories on full display. EU folks, prepared, serious. Tories, empty handed, empty brained smirking from all of the free sherry they consumed on the flight over. Shysters, utter shysters.

If you want win-win we need to #RejoinEU

It's great to see Andy Burnham and others willing to open up an honest and factual debate on freedom of movement. For far too long, the right has dominated this conversation with fear and misinformation.

1. Freedom of Movement benefits both sides. 2. It's the freedom to live, love, study, work, set-up business and retire across 30+ countries. 3. The Posted Workers Directive has been reformed, so there's no threat of EU workers undercutting British workers. 4. EU workers often only stay temporarily.

Burnham open to 'honest discussion' on EU free movement The PM said he wants a "factual" and "evidence-based debate" about returning to free movement between Britain and Europe.
