✨ My new library gpuix-svelte is out! Build native desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux using Svelte and gpui, a Rust-powered graphics engine. Excited to see what you build! #svelte #native gpuix-svelte.stanislav.garden

gpuix-svelte.stanislav.gardengpuix-svelte: Build native desktop apps with SvelteA Svelte renderer for native desktop apps on macOS, Windows and Linux. GPUI, the UI framework behind the Zed editor, draws them, with no DOM or webview.

it's neat to be around people with more social anxiety than you because it really does emphasize how silly brains get girl I met yesterday apologizing to me today for... something? I literally have no idea what she thinks she did wrong, but clearly to her it's obvious

I need bsky search but only for posts that could've popped up in my feeds/replies to them, for when I half-remember a thing

ok so ai nerds what's the "good" home server hardware for running decent models in the like 5kish range? DGXs? A framework desktop? secret third option?

I think my weirdest/funniest gender euphoria fluffies were the times someone in queer circles says, as a genuine compliment, I have <masc feature>, in a way they clearly wouldn't say to a trans woman Unironically my Ultimate Gender Goal I think when I first started transitioning :3

Pre-E I also kinda wanted "ethereally pretty woman you semi-wonder if you imagined" but mostly I was just ridiculously starved of affirmation This comes more naturally tho, the other would still be nice but it'd be sooo much effort lol

Specific instance was a guy in a queer-adjacent bar saying my outfit had "tomboy vibes" without any "hope that's not mean" I sooo wanted to look sad and tell him so he'd panic a bit and apologize (before reassuring him, I'm not *that* mean) just to mess with him (I didn't)

I am faceblind as shit goddamn See people in a different context/dressed up and I have literally no clue who anybody is

Reading the wikipedia page for the Chinese Room argument and wow he clearly had his idea and stuck to it no matter the reply huh his argument is unfalsifiable, he never defines what something would need to *be* a "mind" and he seems to change some requirements repeatedly

Sekoia@sekoia.dev

Didn't realize Searle's argument was with the human doing the computation. Of course that system would be conscious too? What does Searle even think a mind *is* other than information which the system *has*? Incredibly silly argument

Hi hello apparently people use this feed? Not a problem at all but I'm kinda curious who is using it so like. feel free to reply here. Anyway I just updated it to also include the second starter pack so there's probably gonna be more posts now (if you're here from "Following" you can ignore this)

I miiiight split it or revert the change or add filters to make it slightly slower or something, adding a whole bunch of people to it might make it less pleasant to use

Opus 5.5 does not have the juice imo smart, but soo expensive and slow and still not great at talking clearly

a take I've kinda had rattling around for a while is that as much as "historians will say they're roommates" doesn't happen *as* often as ppl say it is very clear that everybody (even leftish historians) require 5-10x more proof than truly necessary for anything queer vs cishet

museum placards will say shit like "it is speculated that Lady XYZ was the Duke ABC's mistress" based off of one letter meanwhile even the fucken Chevalière D'Éon needs disclaimers on whether she was trans "they didn't have the same conception of queerness" never comes up for straight stuff somehow

mostly this really annoys me when otherwise leftish people do it is there a word for that effect where people suddenly have reasonable surface-level complaints, but only in minority contexts? increased scrutiny in a way I guess?

This makes me uncomfortable in the same way that kira & co initially made me uncomfortable ngl

New animation from Opus 5.5!

>switch poor-quality stainless steel piercing with a good titanium one >within 2 days, ear is about twice as comfy I really shoulda done more research on healing

unsubbing from opencode go, been having too many issues with it as a provider and the main guy is a DHH liker, and generally tweets in that US SV VC guy way ("DEI set everything back" type shit). Frustrating, but oh well.

Some quick math suggests you could run JEV on the entire bsky posts firehose for < 10 USD per day... (3.5 mil posts per day, 0.042 USD/million tokens, say 50 tokens per post on average)

uggghhhhhhhh if they actually give money or collab or something I guess I'm unsubbing

Name@evelyn.willalways.top

Nvm, I'm unsubbing from OpenCode. Didn't realise Dax may have ties to DHH and co. Not that he is but like @noz.am linked me to a post about Dax offering to work with DHH on a package manager for Omarchy. I'll probably make a opensource payg routing layer.

The french rule that you need to put a thin, unbreakable space before """double punctuation""" (exclamation & question marks, semicolons (not colons tho)) is the ugliest typographic rule ever, I hate it

kinda doxxing myself but I am nominated for youngest person to get a master's at my uni this year! not a guarantee but still cool!

I set up hyprwhspr which seems like one of the only good dictation background services in linux and it has the most *fucked up* install process. Looked into it and yup. Lots of references to omarchy too.

Sekoia@sekoia.dev

sooo tired of hearing of omarchy or seeing DHH's face on random-ass github projects

I just can't imagine writing so much *code* without ever thinking "hey maybe a real packaging mechanism would work better" at least it's consistent with XDG...
