Got some time to focus on the #NUnit docs finally! 17 PRs closed and 8 pending, including: * A preview site for every docs PR * Make the "Edit page" button viewable on mobile * Add an example column to the Constraints list * Documenting how Tolerances work * Lots of long-overdue minor improvements
Not to mention, you should see the great new home page that @osiristerje.bsky.social put together! docs.nunit.org -- suggestions welcome! #nunit #dotnet #oss #tdd

He swore an oath to the Constitution
Trump's Attorney General Todd Blanche: There was this misperception that there's this 'separation' and 'independence' between the Department of Justice and the White House and everybody likes to accuse me of not suffering from independence. I don't. I work for President Trump.
@chocolatey.org I'm seeing 503s on the CLI and the packages page, but nothing on the StatusPage. Anything going on?

I may just not be plugged in but I feel surprised I don't see it framed this way more. Maybe I should dust off the ol' blog..
Weird it's almost like blanket top-down approaches can't work and you instead need to pay attention to people saying where tools/practices can drive value and then run experiments and learn and share and foster change. You just know these companies "do agile and DevOps" too.

@blowdart.me I was surprised that after all the CVEs just announced, the fixed releases weren't out available via MCR, dotnet-setup, etc. so that we could quickly patch. Just curious: is the gap between announcement & publish an intentional balancing?

This is exactly what ICE said: "Parra-Hernandez ran in front of an ICE vehicle and was struck." Now watch the video. They're no other word for it: They're lying.
Watch an ICE agent run down and then run over a man. The man was was then writhing on the ground, saying "You broke my leg! You broke my leg!" Agents didn't help him. And btw, the man wasn't the target of their operation.

Friday night is typically when administrations do the things they're proudest of, right?
Russ Vought just sent a rescissions request to Congress, signaling he intends to illegally impound funds. The $810 million highlighted in this โrequestโ (but this is a pretext to just illegally impound the funds) is not the exhaustive list of many billions of dollars heโs impounding this year.
An easy decision this week: our team handily voted to keep and pay the OSMF for @simoncropp.bsky.social's Verify .NET. Verify is a snapshot testing tool/ecosystem and it's great. Here's how it went down: #dotnet #oss #osmf
I think devs tend to make these things into big events, but this was easy and minimal. Truly a non-event. Happy to support tooling we get value from. Cheers, @simoncropp.bsky.social! ๐ป

Precisely thisโthe power attributed to technology makes it incredibly useful for laundering responsibility
The AI industry wants you to say "the AI just did that thing on its own!" Like, United Health's AI that's denying a shitload of claims with a 90% error rate? They wanted you to think it's just the AI.
Revisited my blog post series from 7 (?!) years ago today, I'm really happy with how well it's held up. Do you run interviews? You might find it useful. seankilleen.com/2019/09/bett...
They're not outsourcing the decisions so much as attempting to outsource the accountability. Innocent people will die because of this, and blame will be avoided, unless we ensure it's not.
(1/5) Pentagon leadership has said that by the end of this month, Palantir's Maven artificial intelligence system will become a line item with stable, long-term funding in the defense budget (a "program of record"). #News #Palantir #AI

once again, this should be front-page news all over the world, the President of the USA just fabricated an entire story about himself
Trump on 9/11: "I just thank my people. I was building a big building in New York & I took the whole crew down there right after this happened & they had no hesitation. Everybody went down with me... we thought it was coming down on top of us... two fireman lifted me up and started running with me"
Almost done ripping out our @bitnami.bsky.social usage after they burned all their OSS goodwill and tried to charge us $60k/year to use 3 helm charts. Will feel good to be rid of them. Another great project torched by enterprise capture.
Still, I do owe @bitnami.bsky.social a thanks. They got us up and running quickly in the beginning which allowed me to get our product's legs under it without worrying about that part of the ecosystem. Just wish it could have gone better, since there was so much room for it to.

Another important post you should read from @masnick.com. TLDR: Age verification is bad. Longer TLDR: Avoid having your ID scanned for any reason. www.techdirt.com/2026/09/03/h...

Weirdly, in its price hike announcement FAQ to customers, @atlassian.bsky.social doesn't answer "hey, didn't you fire 10% of your staff for AI? Why didn't that prevent a price increase?"
