Darcy DeClute | Scrumtuous

Too bad all the others who said that quickly returned when their engagement went down. I write an article about the many tech folks who lack the courage of their convictions. www.theserverside.com/blog/Coffee-...

@scrumtuous.com uh oh gpt 4o thinks your book is a best seller !! kind of changed your face though and typo , but the point I’m trying to make is product concepts should be so easy to do now

It really has been.

I’ve been disappointed with the Java community on here. Everyone wants to promote their blog post or conference talk but don’t want anyone to comment or like on something that’s not theirs. Java on Bluesky has been a real disappointment.

#JavaJokeOfTheDay 🏆 And the award for the “Longest Running Incubating Feature in a Leading Role” goes to... 🥁 Vector API! Premiered in JDK 16, heroically powering vector computations... Fans: Production ready yet? JDK: One more preview… for nostalgia. #JavaDukeShortStories

Really cool! This is a key motivator to work on JavaFX. Education is extremely important, one of the most important investments in a better future. And if JavaFX can help in education with low budget, that is a major win.

Lots of devs have been asking for this. youtu.be/9aBPxO6Wl6c?...

Looking forward to running my new IBM Red Hat JBoss WebSphere Liberty server on AIX.

For those who are looking for a little clarity between Agile and Scrum, I've got your back! youtu.be/fu-k4O21Q1Q

Nice to know that after destroying the Canadian economy and letting the dollar sink to new lows he has stepped up his game and put out a list. Can it be sorted? That would really save Canada!

It was the preferred choice until Oracle sued the pants off everyone that tried to use it. That pushed Google away from Java to Python for their AI tools and Java has never recovered.

It’s like Python today is almost where Java was 30 years ago. Amazing progress!!!

On celebrating for very little, this is my fastest growing video on YouTube. Not even a month gone by and it has already reached 100 views. Learn the basics of #kotlin #coroutines with me. Have a good one! Multipart Kotlin Coroutines Course - E01 - The Basics youtu.be/LyAOF37cJ-c

Ever heard of Deepseek? 🤔 You don't need a lot of hardware to run it!🖥️ In this tutorial on running Deepseek R1 locally, I run it on an old desktop that doesn't even have a video card. Want your own, local, LLM? This tutorial will get you started. youtu.be/UiyVf-McEaQ

With lord of the ring references? Like all of them. Ramble On is the worst, but they say Stairway was about Hobbits too.

If you don’t care about lyrics and want to hear a guy sing about lord of the rings. I’ll pass.

I ask everyone to withdraw all stock market gains since the trump election and give it all to anti fascist causes. I’m sure if you have been in the industry a long time your profits are large. Sadly, most people wont. Their posts are just virtue signals. No real intent. Give!

Makes me sad scrolling through my feed and seeing nobody commenting on Java posts. Social media isn’t just about posting your own thing and leaving. Support your friends. Support Bluesky. Be social.
