Write the script, cut it into shots, storyboard it, then generate the footage. One tool, start to finish. The screenplay editor is free. We made our anime Lost Garden with it. screenweaver.ai

Decide how long a shot lasts before you write its prompt. A 3 s insert gets one action and nothing else. A 10 s wide needs the camera to go somewhere, or the model fills the extra seconds with drift. What length do you generate most often? #AIfilmmaking

Lantern has no face to act with. So in a lot of Lost Garden shots we put the camera behind him and let the rest of the frame react: here, five Masked Pilgrims and one warm doorway in a blue forest. How do you get a faceless character to read on screen? #AIanimation

Adapting a comic or webtoon with AI video: what do you do with the speech bubbles? Paint them out before the panel goes in as a reference, redraw the panel clean, or leave them and hope the model ignores them? We strip them first. How do you handle them? #AIanimation

Adapting a webtoon to 16:9? Don't stretch the panel. Pick the one thing it's about (a face, a hand, a door), frame that, and let the model fill the sides. Tall panels often hide two shots: cut where your eye stops on the way down. How do you deal with the tall ones? #AIanimation

A frame from Lost Garden, episode 1. To make the Machine feel huge, we put the camera low, right behind Lantern, and kept him small at the bottom of the frame. The glowing mushrooms help too: you know their size, so you get the Machine's. Where do you put the camera for your giants? #AIanimation

Your Higgsfield credits now work inside ScreenWeaver. Connect your account in Connected apps, then switch any video node to My Higgsfield account. The clip lands back in your project. Which other platforms do you use? app.screenweaver.ai

New in ScreenWeaver: each Video node now outputs its first and last frame as images. Wire the last frame into the next shot as its start image and the cut lines up. You can also pull any frame from mid clip. How do you chain shots? www.screenweaver.ai/go/bluesky-home-p #AIfilmmaking

On an average shot, how many generations do you burn before you get one you keep? Real numbers welcome, bad days included. And what sends most takes to the bin for you: the face drifting, or the camera doing something you never asked for? #AIfilmmaking

Before the first shot with a character, make a turnaround: front, side and back on one sheet. Then attach it to every single generation. Without the back view, the model guesses the back of the head and guesses differently each time. What do you attach to keep a face steady? #AIanimation

In Lost Garden we try to nail the wide shot of a place before anything closer. Once the temple, the fog and the floating rocks are set in one frame, the close-ups have something to match. Wide first or close-ups first, how do you work? #AIanimation

New in ScreenWeaver: bring a PDF or page images into a project through the assistant or MCP. Comic pages, or a storyboard you drew on paper. Each page lands as its own media and you can cut out the panels. Plain import costs nothing. www.screenweaver.ai/go/bluesky-m... #AIfilmmaking

screenweaver.aiScreenWeaver MCP: your screenplay and storyboard inside your AI assistantOne URL to paste. Your assistant reads your script, imports Final Draft or Fountain files and builds the shot list in your ScreenWeaver storyboard.

Question for people making AI films: when do you write the script? Before the first generation, after a few test shots, or once you've seen what the model can do? Curious how many of you shape the story around the footage. #AIfilmmaking

Habit we kept from making Lost Garden: before any prompt, rewrite the scene as a numbered shot list. One line per shot: framing, who's in frame, what changed since the last shot. If you can't write the line, you're not ready to prompt that shot. #AIfilmmaking #AIanimation
