A family group text thread is a mess when planning family gatherings & communicating details, and sometimes people get left out by accident or miss a text. After years of work, I'm thrilled to introduce the solution to this, and much more: Family Vault getfamilyvault.app

getfamilyvault.appFamily Vault: names, faces, family plans, RSVPs, pollsGet your entire family on the same page. Family Vault puts every face and name in your family, every birthday, every get-together, and who is coming in one place, so nothing gets lost in the group tex...

I have a friend who is 1 of 12 siblings 🤯 and I asked him how they coordinate family gatherings, and keep track of names and faces and birthdays, and all the “who, what, where, when” of it all (because that’s a LOT of nieces, nephews, siblings, etc) His answer: (continued ⬇️)

on a family poll deciding on special get-together details. My greatest hope is for families to become closer-knit and always on the same page, perfectly in sync with all their priceless family happenings. 🩷🤟🏼 (continued ⬇️)

private beyond belief. And it’s called Family Vault As I’ve watched people use the app in person, it literally puts a genuine smile on their face. And I’ve experienced the same personally as my wife and I have used it daily. It warms my heart to get (continued ⬇️)

a Family Vault notification in the morning saying it’s my niece or nephew’s birthday and then opening the app to see their sweet face and their age. Or getting a notification about their football game or dance recital that day. Or getting one asking for my input (continued ⬇️)

“a shared spreadsheet…” 🫠 So I put YEARS of work into an elegant solution, for both sides of the family, and every kind of family (even TINY families, like 2-people tiny). No ads, no subscriptions, no social feed, no followers, 1 shared family purchase, and (continued ⬇️)

I just lost my job, totally blindsided 🙁 I've been developing iOS since 2012, and now I've been deep into agentic Engineering, especially this year. My family situation requires me to work remotely. I live in Utah, USA. Please spread the word 🙏🏽 Any help? 🩷

One thing missing from the App Store UI is an indication that an app will be free when Purchase Sharing (aka Family Sharing) is enabled. If a family member buys an app, the 2nd member still sees the price on the download button until they attempt to buy it. A download deterrent.

I'm curious: what time of day/night is the App Store review team reviewing YOUR apps lately? For me, it seems to ONLY be around 1:00 AM; so if I wake up and it still hasn't been reviewed, I tell myself to wait another 24 hours and never expect a review during my waking hours.

If you live in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington area, please let me know if you could help my mom: She’s looking for a room to rent to live in. She’s starting a whole new life up there and it’s so brave of her! DM me instead of reply. Thank you!

I feel sympathy for the App Store review team because I can't imagine how they'll continue to keep up with the astronomical increase in submissions to review. My submission, currently, is on day 7 of "Waiting for review" and I'm truly not bothered at all! Grateful for the App Store really!

I'd like to suggest that Apple change the wording of "data collection" to something less scary, such as data "storage". Because I truly only ever want to carefully & securely store users' data so they have full trust in the app they're using. I'm not collecting Pokémon cards.

FB23819821 (SwiftUI NavigationStack bug freezing the UI) iOS 27 beta 3: Pushing and popping on a NavigationStack, will often lock up the main thread causing the entire app to freeze and requiring a force-close.

This use-case was what sparked the idea of PopTap in my brain. My niece posted on Insta asking people to comment with their addresses, and the flood of comments over the next few days was unorganized and of course couldn’t be exported or anything. PopTap solves that like a champ.

Hi! I’m planning a big launch of a project I’ve been working on for a while. I’ve never done all the things like Product Hunt, or had other places cover the launch. If you are willing, please DM me with any tips and advice and guidance. 🙏🏽 Yes, I can ask AI, but I need humans. 🩷
